  • Following her interesting rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” at Super Bowl, Alicia Keys once again received mixed reviews after performing Sunday at the NBA All-Star game in Houston.

Swizz Beatz’s wife was the halftime performer and ran through hits like “Empire State of Mind,” “Girl on Fire,” and “No One.” While no one questions Keys is a vocal powerhouse, something about her performance certainly didn’t translate into people’s living rooms.

  • Who is the man behind the winning Oscar envelope?

The Oscar statue is certainly the most recognizable symbol of the Academy Awards, but the gold envelope that contains the winners’ names is arguably just as iconic.

So, who is the man behind the winning envelope’s look? Well, his name is Marc Friedland, and he’s an invitation designer who creates stationery arts for dozens of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston and Tom Hanks.

It’s certainly by no means the first time the former “Full House” star has donned some Wookiee attire. Turns out, Mary-Kate and Ashley have been rocking this trend for years.
