Adele’s Baby Name Mystery … Solved?

Did Adele just solve her own baby name mystery?

Ever since the British songstress gave birth to a baby boy in October, her fans have been eager to find out what she named the bundle of joy. But the 24-year-old new mum has been tight-lipped about the decision, explaining backstage at the Golden Globes, “It's too personal and intimate. I'm not ready.”

But it seems she may have given away her own secret. On Monday, the “Skyfall” singer, who has been staying in Los Angeles during awards season, went shopping at a baby boutique on Monday with an interesting accessory – a shiny gold nameplate necklace with the name “Angelo.”

The Greek name Angelo means “messenger” – and is a variant of the name Angel.

Regardless of how Adele’s son’s name appears on his birth certificate, she calls him something else entirely. In an interview with People magazine, Adele, who welcomed the baby with her entrepreneur beau Simon Konecki, revealed her adorable nickname for him is “Little Peanut.”

Little Peanut’s mom made a big announcement on Wednesday – she will be performing at the Oscars! Nominated for “Skyfall,” the theme song from the latest James Bond movie, it is the first time she will sing the song publicly since she recorded it last summer. It will also mark her first public performance since the Grammys last year.

Perhaps she’ll drop little Peanut’s name when she takes the stage. Fingers crossed.
