Adam Levine and Nicki Minaj Designing Clothes for Kmart

If you’ve ever thought of auditioning for “The Voice” or “American Idol,” you may want to take note. Adam Levine and Nicki Minaj are designing clothing lines for … Kmart.

Needless to say, you won’t need to be making a rock star salary to afford these duds from the chart-toppers and reality singing competition show judges. The two artists will each develop apparel and accessories collections that will be available at select stores and on ShopYourWay.com later this year, according to a recent press release.

The pair is in good company with Selena Gomez and Sofia Vergara, who’ve also done collections for the big store.

“I am so excited to work with this iconic, mass retailer and to bring affordable fashion to my beautiful barbz all across the U.S.,” Minaj, 30, said in a statement.

“Partnering with Shop Your Way to develop this line was an exciting opportunity for me and I am really looking forward to diving into the process of designing an apparel and accessory collection,” Levine, 33, said.

Shop Your Way is a social online shopping community that offers rewards and personalized deals to users. The musicians will develop special interactive content and promotions on the site for their individual creations.

We’re guessing Levine’s line will move like, well, clothing, while Minaj’s accessories are meant to fly… off the shelves, that is.

While you wait for their goods to arrive in stores, you can catch Minaj on season 12 of “American Idol,” premiering this week, and Levine on season 4 of “The Voice,” premiering March 25.
