For the big 3-8 on Tuesday, super skinny Victoria Beckham did not allow herself a caloric indulgence of birthday cake — instead, she went with a healthy substitution. The Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer tweeted a photo of a fruit plate, complete with oranges, strawberries, blueberries, mango, and pineapple, with "Happy Birthday Victoria" spelled out in what appeared to be chocolate syrup along the outside of the dish. (We can only assume Beckham did not eat that part.)
The birthday girl, who celebrated with a family lunch at Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills, also posted a photo on Facebook of the gorgeous bouquets she received from her husband, soccer star David Beckham, and their four children Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 9, Cruz, 7, Harper, 8 months, as well as a cluster of purple and white balloons and a banner that reads "Happy birthday Mummy!" In the photo caption, Beckham wrote, "Having a lovely day with my boys and baby Harper!!" She even got a floral gift from her good friend, "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria, which she tweeted about. "Thank you Eva Longoria for such beautiful flowers!!! super chic! X vb."

Of course, Beckham watching her weight is nothing new. Within weeks of giving birth to daughter Harper, the fashionista was already back to her pre-pregnancy size 0, which she showed off in tight leather pants, a black tank top, and towering Christian Louboutin heels during a shopping trip with her family in September. And in order to maintain her shape, Beckham has been sticking to a strict diet. While dining with friends at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills last month, Us Weekly reported that the mother-of-four did not order off the menu. Instead, she ate only arugula — with absolutely no salad dressing. Sounds delish!
Although we admire Beckham's discipline, would a little cheat day every now and then kill her?
