Still, the actress insists in her cover interview that,like everyone else, she has trouble getting inspired to exercise sometimes. "Working out every day for even just 45 minutes isgood for my mental state," she explains. "But getting dressed andactually doing it is the worst. It's hard to get motivated."
Her trick? Making sure there's enough other stuff goingon to get her mind off the actual working out part of it. "In the gym, Ihave like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. Workout partners aregood, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery," saysAlba. "Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out."

When it comes to being a mom, Alba's already had threeyears of practice with daughter Honor, and she's learned to be the perfect momby being not-so-perfect. "I get obsessed with how to make her life asperfect as I can -- which means allowing her to make mistakes and actnuts," she notes.
Besides being a mom, wife, and actress, Alba's also a sexsymbol, though the definition isn't totally clear to her. "I've never beenperceived as anything but a sex symbol," she admits, "so I don't evenknow what that means."
