From a teen star on "Beverly Hills, 90210" to her life as a single mom on the reality series "A Little Bit Country," we've watched Jennie Garth evolve through the years. And a big change we've noticed as of late is the mother of three's slim down following her divorce.
On Tuesday, the 40-year-old star looked noticeably thinner as she arrived at the "Fox & Friends" studio in New York City for an interview. Wearing pale blue skinny jeans that accentuated her slender frame and sky-high silver stilettos, Garth was accompanied by her 9-year-old daughter Lola. She smiled happily for photographers on her way in and out of the building.

It's been a year of change for the beloved TV star. In March, she and her husband of 11 years, Peter Facinelli, announced their plans to split with the "Twilight" actor filing divorce papers soon after. Initially, Garth told People that she was "very resistant" to Facinelli's suggestion that they divorce, saying, "I didn't want it to happen. It took me some time to come to peace with it." However, with her husband's career taking off (he also appears on "Nurse Jackie"), he was often away working while Garth was home with the kids. "I've been in the situation for quite some time," Garth told omg! when asked if she had concerns about single motherhood, "so I can handle it. I'm not concerned."
On Garth's CMT reality show she admitted she has "gone through my darkest parts and I'm coming out of it," and she's shared a little of her reinvention process on Twitter — from a July 4th tweet declaring, "Today I am thankful for my independence..." to details about life as a single mom. And her new body transformation is part of it, too. Late last month she tweeted a bikini shot to her over 180,000 followers. Posing with Lola and 5-year-old Fiona, Garth's rock hard abs were on display in a black string bikini. And when some followers posted messages expressing concern (like Sassy614 writing, "A little too thin there, Jennie!"), she followed that with a tweet letting her fans know she wasn't caught up in an extreme diet, writing, "Eating brie cheese...in a bikini on the beach...something's wrong with this!"

While some may be worried about Garth's sudden weight loss, this isn't the first time we've seen her shed pounds. She also did so after giving birth to each of her daughters — including 14-year-old Luca — as well as when she appeared on "Dancing With the Stars" in 2007. During her time as a contestant in the dance competition, she dropped over 10 pounds with her grueling, daily six-hour rehearsal schedule. "It's more about the inches and toning," she told Us Weekly at the time. "My jeans were a 29 when I started, and I'm wearing a 27 now. It's great to be able to go to the back of my closet and get the clothes I wore [pre-baby]."
Of course, Garth's thinner new frame could also be related to the fact that she's back on the market and has started dating again. In May, she was seen on a romantic dinner date with HGTV star Antonio Ballatore with an witness told Us they looked "flirty and very touchy."
