    • Rosario Dawson flaunts her figure on the cover of Shape magazine. - Don Flood/ShapeAs the skies of Manhattan burst open and flood the steamy streets with rain, Rosario Dawson walks into the lobby of her hotel completely drenched. Dressed in a long, Grecian-style black silk dress, with perfectly luminous skin and her thick, dark hair miraculously unfazed by the humidity, the 32-year-old actress heads to her room to dry off. A few minutes later she returns to the lounge area, where she orders two salads -- baby arugula with grape tomatoes, and artichokes with a truffle vinaigrette -- and a pot of peppermint tea. With an emotionally difficult two weeks behind her, a relaxed Rosario settles in for a long, heartfelt chat.

"I haven't had a lot of sleep in the last 10 days," says Rosario, sipping on her tea. On the heels of many sleepless nights spent at the Cannes Film Festival promoting her latest movie, the rom-com "Zookeeper," starring Kevin James, Rosario returned home to Los Angeles to the terrible news that her beloved grandmother Mima had passed away suddenly at the

    • Throw a 16-year-old on the set of a soap opera and she's bound to end up dealing with a few body issues. And that's exactly what happened to "Days of Lives" star Alison Sweeney, who recently talked to Self magazine for its August issue.

"Being surrounded by such thin, gorgeous actresses made me so insecure and self-conscious," says the 5'4" actress and TV host, who, at her heaviest, was a size 12.

Gwyneth Paltrow's Arm and Abs Workout

Now 34, the host of "The Biggest Loser" is more at peace with her figure. "I'm more educated about my body and how it all works now, so I'm more in control," she explains. "This is the best I've ever felt physically and emotionally."

And that success has a lot do with her pretty intense workout routine, which includes Spinning classes four or five days a week, strength training two or three times a week, and yoga when she can squeeze it in. "I'm on camera 50 weeks a year, so I have to be proud of how I look all the time," says Sweeney.

    • Bethenny Frankel’s Top 3 Tips for Cleansing

Bethenny shares her top tips for cleansing. - Michael Tran/FilmMagic.comSay the words "cleanse" and "detox" and you probably think of the dreaded master cleanse, or you picture surviving on nothing but water and soup for seven days. We're not surprised. Many cleanses are hard on your body chemistry and can actually introduce toxins into your system. While they may lead to short-term weight loss, most cleanses don't work as healthy, sustainable weight-loss plans.

But don't worry! Cleansing or detoxing doesn't have to mean starving yourself. We went to Bethenny Frankel to get her tips on cleansing in a healthy way. (And one that doesn't involve running to the bathroom every 30 minutes!) Here's the advice the "Real Housewives of New York" star -- who just unveiled a new addition to her Skinnygirl line, the Skinnygirl Daily Cleanse and Restore -- had to share.

Bethenny Frankel's Top 3 Tips for Cleansing

      1. Eat Vegetables and Other Whole Foods "Eat vegetables every chance you get, whenever you get the urge," Frankel says. "The more you eat them, the more you

    • Though Kim Kardashian is a svelte size 4, she's still looking to shed some pounds before her summer walk down the aisle. - Brian Prahl/Splash NewsKim Kardashian's reported August wedding to pro basketball player Kris Humphries is getting closer by the day, and according to Life & Style, the 30-year-old is calling in the big guns-- celeb trainers Tracy Anderson and Gunnar Peterson -- to help her get in tip-top shape for the equally big day. Kim needs to shed 15 pounds in order to fit her curvaceous self into a size 2 dress. Actually, make that two dresses. In royal wedding fashion, Kim is actually purchasing double the number of wedding dresses the average bride buys -- one to wear during her vows and one for the reception. Both will be designed by the world-famous Vera Wang, who happens to be a friend of the family.

Trainer Tracy Anderson says she has Kim focused on a total body workout -- sometimes twice a day. "We don't want to take away Kim's amazing curves, so we just do specific movements to tighten the skin and to pull the muscles tight against the bone," Anderson tells the magazine. Meanwhile, Gunnar Peterson works with

    • Denise Richards Reveals Bikini Secrets

Denise looks better than ever in a bikini these days. - Winslow/Butterworth/Splash NewsWhen we think of Denise Richards, we think of her sexy "Wild Things" era, her Bond Girl days, and of course, her tabloid divorce from Charlie Sheen. But now, the 40-year-old mom happens to look hotter in a bikini than ever before.

Self.com's "Selfy Stars" column caught up with Denise, who just adopted a third daughter (Eloise Joni Richards, adopted domestically as a  newborn and named after Denise's late mother, Joni) and whose memoir, The Real Girl Next Door, comes out next month, to ask her what she wants women to learn from her public "heartbreak" -- and how she keeps her abs looking washboard-flat.

Your memoir is about your happier times with your ex-husband, Charlie Sheen. Why have you chosen to celebrate that moment? What do you hope other women will learn from your memoir? "I share a lot in my memoir from when I was a child until now. As far as my marriage, I do share the good memories but also get into my divorce. Not the details, more the feelings. Many women experience

    • Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine shows off his fit physique. - Whittle/Splash News

Maroon 5's Adam Levine is a man of many talents. He doesn't just know how to lead a super popular rock band, he can also mentor up-and-coming singers -- as he did when he served as coach of Javier Colon, the newly-crowned winner of the first season of NBC's "The Voice."With so many responsibilities on his shoulders, one would think they might geta little tight once in a while. Not the case for Levine, who makes sure to practice yoga in order to keep himself flexible. Maroon 5's go-to yoga instructor, Alanna Zabel (founder of AZIAM Yoga and Yoga Barre), recently shared with Self.com the band's shoulder-opening moves. Try them out for yourself ...

Tadasana With Interlaced Fingers Behind the Back 1. Stand with feet together and hands clasped behind your back. 2. Roll your shoulders back, keeping your ears in front of them. Press your ribcage inwards and keep your abdomen strong. Breathe fully through all four sides of your torso to expand evenly. 3. With your inhalations, lengthen your spine. - Alanna Zabel/Self.com

Leaning Crescent Pose With Hands Clasped 1. Keeping your clasped hand position, step your right foot back to a lunge position, staying on the ball of the right foot. Be sure that your left knee is directly over your left ankle. 2. Lean forward, so your back is flat, and you feel a stretch from your right heel through to the crown of your head. 3. Imagine that someone is pulling your hands back away from your head, giving you a deep stretch through your chest and shoulders. - Alanna Zabel/Self.com

Bent Knee Lunge With Eagle Arm Position 1. Lift your torso upright again, while bending your right knee, so that it is about four inches from the floor. 2. Cross your left elbow over the right, at the center of your chest. Keep wrapping and twisting your arms until the palms come together, moving the elbows upwards toward chin level. Keep the shoulders squared to the front of the mat, just like your hips. 3. From the waist down, feel your body pressing into the ground. From the waist up, lift and lengthen, while mildly contracting the abs. - Alanna Zabel/Self.com

Reverse Warrior 1. Straighten your right leg, while dropping your right foot flat to the floor. Line your right heel with your left heel, keeping your right toes closer. 2. Open your arms wide into Warrior II pose (with the left knee bent ninety degrees). 3. Slide the right hand down the back of the right leg. Inhale the left arm up towards the ceiling, and reach the fingers over your head in an arc. 4. Look straight ahead or towards your left hand. Sink the hips down toward the floor and relax the shoulders while stretching back. - Alanna Zabel/Self.com

Wide Leg Position With Cow Face Pose 1. Bring your upper body back to upright. Stretch your arms out shoulder height, creating a T-shape. 2. Reach your right hand behind you, bending at the elbow, with the back of your hand facing your body. Feel for the middle of your shoulder blades. 3. Then, reach your left arm overhead, rotating the palm to face your back as you bend your elbow. Clasp your right fingertips or hand with your left. - Alanna Zabel/Self.com

Triangle Pose With Behind-the-Back Shoulder Stretch 1. From the wide leg position, turn your left foot to face the front of your mat, keeping both legs straight. Open your arms out to their sides, and look down at your feet; your left heel should line up exactly with your right heel to ensure hips are in proper alignment. 2. Turn your right foot in about 45 degrees. Make sure you have a full external rotation of the left thigh, so your left knee is aligned directly over the right foot and the rotation of your left leg comes from the hip joint, not the ankle joint. Imagine your body is between two panes of glass. 3. Extend your left arm forward, keeping it parallel to the floor and palms facing down. Bend from the hip, not the waist, while imagining that the left side of your body is just as long as the right. 4. Slide the back of the left hand down the outer left shin, until you feel resistance, then stop and hold. Your head should be held neutral, making sure not to drop it out of alignment. 5. Now reach your right arm behind your back, looking for your left inner thigh if it can reach; if not, place the top of your hand on your lower back. Look up toward the ceiling, while pressing your right shoulder behind your line of vision and down towards your hips. Scroll upScroll down - Alanna Zabel/Self.com

      1. From Triangle pose, look towards the floor as you bend your left knee. Unwind your right arm, bringing both hands to the floor on either side of the left foot. 2. Rotate onto the ball of your right foot and step back to Downward Facing Dog pose. This pose resembles that of an upside down letter V without arching in the back. Hands should be shoulder-width apart, and middle fingers should point straight ahead. Feet are hips-width apart and remain parallel to each other, your heel directly behind your second toe. 3. From here, gaze towards your shins. While pushing the floor away and engaging your shoulders and upper body, try to avoid sinking your neck into your shoulders and upper back. - Alanna Zabel/Self.com
