The humanitarian and mother of six revealed on Monday night that she recently had a preventive double mastectomy after finding out she carried the BRCA1 gene. Due to this mutated gene, Jolie learned there was an 87% chance that she would get breast cancer and a 50% chance she'd develop ovarian cancer.
Now, People magazine reports that Jolie, 37, will undergo surgery to remove her ovaries.
