However, that doesn't seem to be the case. Not only did the 23-year-old British actor avoid JLaw at the A-list affair, according to E! News, and tell Us Weekly that they are just "friends," but he spent the day after the gala with Riley Keough, his stunning co-star from "Mad Max: Fury Road."

Michelle Williams looked like a punk princess at the Met Gala on Monday with her black Saint Laurent gown, Fred Leighton diamond-encrusted tiara, and Olympia Le-Tan punk poster clutch -- and it looks like she may have ended the evening with her new Prince Charming.

The former flames were photographed exiting a Los Angeles-area court after a hearing related to Richards assuming temporary custody of Sheen and his ex-wife Brooke Mueller's 4-year-old sons, Max and Bob, while the real estate investor seeks treatment for drug addiction. Richards, 42, appeared serious as she exited the courthouse in a short black suit; 47-year-old Sheen, who was dressed in a blue suit and tie, hammed it up for photographers, flashing a thumbs up sign and shaking hands with people before hopping into a waiting limousine.

But less has been said about the male standouts -- and there were quite a few, for reasons good and bad.

While there were many men sporting traditional tuxes (zzz!), others attempted to rock riskier styles, as necessitated by the "Punk: Chaos to Couture" theme. One such fellow was Tyson Beckford, who at 42 doesn't seem to age. The model channeled his inner Mama June and Levi Johnston in this camo-inspired look. But instead of military greens, it was in shades of pink -- kind of like a cross between G.I. Joe and … Barbie.

Psy was also easy to spot in the sea of A-listers. The South Korean singer, 35, shunned the typical monkey suit and instead opted for a red-and-black houndstooth jacket with a bow tie -- though he was nervous with his out-of-the-box outfit at the event, hosted by Vogue.

On Tuesday's "Ellen DeGeneres Show," the 55-year-old talk show host took a few minutes for serious conversation, specifically to thank the firefighters who worked to contain the blaze, which spread to more than 28,000 acres and threatened 4,000 homes, including her own ranch in Hidden Valley. The comedian and her wife Portia de Rossi's sprawling property, which was featured in the May issue of Elle Décor, was in the path of fire, but was ultimately saved thanks to the massive rescue efforts.

"I was watching our house on the news," said DeGeneres, who evacuated the horses from the multi-structure ranch but had a caretaker there overseeing the property. "The helicopter was above our house. It’s just surreal to be watching ... that’s our house."

The 31-year-old, who is known for being fairly conservative on the red carpet, wore a black Giambattista Valli creation, featuring a web-like pattern throughout, to Monday's star-studded event celebrating "Punk: Chaos to Couture." Unlike, say, Ginnifer Goodwin and Emmy Rossum, Biel barely wore any makeup and had her hair slicked back -- perhaps to draw attention to the highlight of her look: a faux septum piercing.

Mrs. Timberlake's silver nose ring was fairly subtle -- you had to be up close to really see it. Vogue U.K. went as far as to describe it as "discreet."

Biel wasn't the only celebrity to sport a fake piercing at the event, which was like a who's who of Hollywood with guests including from Beyoncé, Katie Holmes, Blake Lively, and Madonna. Keira Knightley may be the most low-key celebrity bride ever.

Over the weekend, the 28-year-old "Pirates of the Caribbean" star married musician James Righton in southern France -- and it appears that she may have recycled her wedding dress.

That's right -- the simple, yet stylish, short, strapless tulle dress Knightley was seen wearing as she joyfully skipped out of her wedding ceremony while clutching the hand of her groom seems to be her something old. The gown appears to be the same one she wore to a pre-BAFTA party in 2008.
