Apparently tattoos of eagles are goop-approved!

Gwyneth Paltrow has made a second career out of giving tips for high-level living on her lifestyle website, so we did a triple take when we saw these new photos of the actress sporting a decidedly unchic tattoo of an eagle on her arm.

As one would expect, the 50-year-old didn’t seem all that eager to discuss her controversial ex-fiancé, whom she dated from 2003 to 2006 and didn’t stay in touch with after their split. But the “First Cut Is the Deepest” singer addressed the cyclist’s admission to Oprah Winfrey last week that he cheated to help win a record-setting seven Tour de France titles.

On Thursday, Beverly Hills police responded – in force! – to a 911 call reporting an armed intruder at Tom Cruise’s posh estate. TMZ was first to report the news that cops scoured the property surrounding the actor’s $30 million, 10,000-square-foot home, but turned up nothing. And the only people at the mansion at the time – Cruise’s security detail and a chef – didn’t see anything suspicious and knew nothing about a 911 call.

Rimes candidly admitted that at the peak of her emotional problems, she battled suicidal thoughts.

For the third time this month, the 18-year-old has unveiled a new tattoo. The ink addict’s latest, which he showed off Monday, is of Roman numerals – I, IX, VII, and V – which presumably stands for 1975 … though a math teacher would wisely note that the year would technically be MCMLXXV.
