Savannah Guthrie is reporting some of her own news: She's engaged!

The "Today"  co-anchor was showing off a new sparkler on the set of the NBC morning show on Monday. The 41-year-old told her colleagues that her political consultant beau Mike Feldman proposed to her over the weekend.

When Al Roker joked that something was blinding him at the news desk this morning, Guthrie flashed her massive round diamond ring which featured smaller diamonds around the band.

Guthrie and Mike Feldman (Getty Images)"Yes, I got engaged!" she exclaimed, noting that she "adores" Feldman, whom she has been dating for four years. "As he said, no one will accuse us of rushing into anything."

Guthrie told viewers that she was trying to get her co-workers to notice her ring when she first arrived at the set on Monday morning -- to no avail. Matt Lauer said he was surprised they missed it, given its size.

"You could have seen it from across the street. It's a beauty," said Lauer, who later posted a photo of Guthrie's new bling on Twitter.
