Runaway mom Brenda Heist is sitting down with Dr. Phil and breaking her silence in her first interview since abandoning her family 11 years ago.

Heist vanished without a trace on February 8, 2002, after dropping off her two children, Lee, 12, and Morgan, 8, at school in Lilitz, Pennsylvania, leaving her husband, family, and suburban lifestyle behind. Police investigated her disappearance for more than a decade, until she surfaced in Key West, Florida, late last month. Heist told officials she had hitchhiked with other people, lived in a camper, in tents, and under bridges, and scrounged up whatever food she could gather from restaurants. Other reports are telling a different story, saying she found a boyfriend within a year of arriving in Florida and seemed to live a pretty comfortable life, including vacationing, eating out, and going to the beach.

Dr. Phil interviewed the former missing housewife for nearly five hours in the Santa Rosa County Jail, where she is currently being held on outstanding warrants. Heist revealed she never could have imagined she'd be homeless, saying, "I've never even been around homeless people. Maybe see them on the street sometimes, but I've never been around homeless people at all. Never knew anything about it. That's why I had my own problems believing what I was doing. I just kept saying to myself, they're better off without me."

"I've never wanted to grow up too fast. I wanted to wear a sports bra until I was 22!" She added, "The allure of being sexy never really held any excitement for me. I've never been in a terrible rush to be seen as a woman."

Even though the 23-year-old brunette beauty might not want to be seen as a sultry older star just yet, she's definitely taking on some more grown-up roles. Her character threw out her inhibitions in a big way in the edgy flick "Perks of Being a Wallflower," and her latest turn as a fan-obsessed teen in a group that robs celebrities in "The Bling Ring" is sure to turn some heads in Hollywood.

We have to admit, we love how she isn't giving in to the pressure of the industry to seem older than her age ― you go, girl!

Little Monsters: Get ready! Your Mother Monster is back and she appears to be as good as new.

Lady Gaga was snapped out and about Wednesday in New York City ― and for the first time since her February hip surgery, she was rocking her trademark sky-high megaheels.

After being forced to cancel the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour and being largely confided to a wheelchair for the last few months (we must admit, her 24-carat gold plated chariot was pretty amazing), we're going gaga over the fact that she's back to her usual self.

Even though she was spotted briefly wearing short kitten heels on one occasion since her operation, these black superhigh platforms ― which measure at least six inches high and feature killer spiked heels ―are definitely more symbolic of her usual outrageous signature style. Also, perhaps a sign that Lady G is finally ready to be back where she belongs ― on stage!

Case in point? The sassy songstress made her first post-surgery performance at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York last week, performing "Someone to Watch Over Me" with Jazz trumpeter Brian Newman. We're so happy to see her back on "The Edge of Glory"!

Hottie alert! Chris Evans was spotted on the set of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" on Tuesday in Washington, D.C., showing off his seriously buff bod. The 31-year-old Hollywood hunk has clearly embraced the superhero role ― he's looking bulkier and better than ever.

But he did admit that getting those mighty muscles wasn't so easy. The actor told Pop Sugar that his grueling training schedule for "Captain America: The First Avenger" back in 2011 was pretty brutal. "I'd walk out and I'd be like, 'I need to vomit. I hate this trainer. I hate this movie. I want to go to sleep for a week.' It was just relentless. I've got a fast metabolism and I lose weight very quickly, so for me to get big, it was just eat a lot."

He might have hated it, but we are very appreciative of the results!

Hayden Panettiere is letting the cut-outs do all the talking. The 23-year-old blonde beauty hit the red carpet at the ABC Upfronts in New York City Tuesday to promote her hit series "Nashville" and looked every bit the part of her sexy pop star character, Juliette Barnes. Sporting a skin tight, deep purple, peek-a-boo bandage dress, she definitely left little to the imagination while playing up her best assets.

But Hayden isn't the only Hollywood hottie to rock the cut-out trend. Supermodel Miranda Kerr stepped out at the Met Gala in a black Michael Kors gown that showed off her abs. Disney Darling turned fashionista Selena Gomez also showed a little skin in a black and white pantsuit in New York City last month.

"I'm still waiting for my maternal instincts to kick in, really. I'm sure a lot of new moms can really relate to that, so I'm hoping it'll happen before it comes out," she revealed. We think she'll be a total natural, but this isn't the first time she's mentioned her fears about motherhood. The sexy singer told "Good Morning America" in March, "I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm just going to play it by ear and see how things go and let the natural instincts kick in."

Clearly, Fergie has natural instincts for one thing ― her booming business! The "Glamorous" singer has a shoe collection, three fragrances, nail polish, the Fergalicious clothing line, and a family-owned winery, Ferguson Crest. She's also a minority owner of the Miami Dolphins.

Brunette bombshell Katy Perry proved she can move like Mick Jagger when she crashed The Rolling Stones' tour in Sin City over the weekend and joined Jagger and the band on stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. She joined the rock stars for a duet of their 1978 hit "Beast of Burden" -- and it's pretty safe to say she held her own!

Rocking black leather thigh-high boots and a coordinating bustier dress, the pop princess showed off her booming voice and bangin' bod to match. Clearly, this was a dream come true for Katy, because she couldn't help sharing her excitement on Twitter, writing "Thanks for letting me be the 5th wheel last night! @TheRollingStones," and "Mick & Kate forever!"

Justin Bieber had something special up his sleeve for his mom, Pattie Mallette, on Mother's Day: a sweet serenade.

While the 19-year-old pop star performed to a sold-out crowd in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Sunday night, he surprised both the audience and his mom by bringing her up on stage and dedicating his popular song "One Less Lonely Girl" to her. (Cue the awwwws.)

Just after the show, the singer took to Twitter to further express his love, writing, "Happy Mother's Day @PattieMellatte. Today U R my #OLLG. Love u." Pattie was, of course, equally touched by her son's thoughtful gestures and tweeted, "So yep … @JustinBieber surprised me for Mother's Day tonight & brought me out for OLLG! #VerySweet!" Very sweet, indeed! Good to see the Biebs hasn't forgotten where he came from.
