  • Michelle Obama Strikes a Pose for Vogue

First Lady Michelle Obama poses for famed photographer Annie Leibovitz in a magenta dress by Jason Wu at the Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington, D.C. - Annie Leibovitz/VogueWhile Barack Obama was on the campaign trail in his quest to become president, somewhere along the way his wife Michelle became a style icon. Now, the First Lady is gracing the cover of Vogue's March issue. According to the Washington Post, she's only the second first lady to do so! (Hillary Clinton was the first.)

In the feature, Obama opens up to Vogue's editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley about everything: from what she felt when her husband was elected president -- "I was proud as a wife, amazed as a citizen" -- to criticism of the cardigan she wore over her Narciso Rodriguez dress on that wonderful night. "I also have to be practical," she notes. "In the end, someone will always not like what you wear -- people just have different tastes. Some will think that a sweater was horrible, [but] I was cold; I needed that sweater."

The mother of two also discusses settling into Washington, D.C., her struggle to maintain a healthy balance between work and life, her upbringing on the South

  • Taylor Swift: The Oddball From Pennsylvania

Taylor Swift opens up about everything from heartache to frizzy hair in the April issue of Allure. - AllureTaylor Swift is everywhere! Her album, "Fearless," was number one on the Billboard charts, she's made a guest-starring appearance on "CSI," she has a line of Taylor Swift dolls, and recently unveiled a collection of affordable sundresses at Walmart. Not bad for an "oddball from Pennsylvania," which is what Taylor's mom affectionately refers to her as in the April issue of Allure.

Although the 19-year-old is clearly a celebrity, she's remained a nerd at heart. Daphne Merkin, who interviewed Swift for Allure, notes that she is "open about her insecurities rather than hiding behind defensive or confrontational attitudes..." Take, for instance, Taylor's naturally curly hair. "I used to straighten it in school, because all the cool girls had straight hair," she shares. "It looked so horrible -- it completely frizzed out if it was humid outside, and it took me so long in the morning. But I suffered through that to try and be cool. And when you step out into the real world, you realize that

  • ‘High School Musical 3′ Style

Since everyone's busy revamping their look for the new school year, I thought I'd reach out to Caroline Marx -- the costume designer who gets to dress all the stars in "High School Musical 3" -- to see what the teens will be wearing at East High when they hit the big screen in October.

Troy (Zac Efron) clearly loves Gabriella's (Vanessa Hudgens) innocent girl-next-door look. - Disney Enterprises, Inc.

"We have so many characters and they all have their own distinct personality and style," explains Marx. "None of the characters can trade clothes." Although the designer admits she likes dressing Kelsi (played by Olesya Rulin) and Martha (played by Kaycee Stroh) best, this time around I ask her to focus on the style of a few other "HSM" faves:

Troy (Zac Efron) "channels a young James Dean/young Elvis look. Zac prefers Diesel jeans. They fit him well, so [his character] wears lots of slim-cut Diesel jeans and James Perse classic t-shirts with Converse high tops or low-top Vans." He also wears several plaid and solid Tank Farm and Varvatos for Converse over-shirts. Even Troy and his teammates'

  • Valerie Bertinelli Gets Her Bikini Bod Back!

PeopleLately, it seems like all the media does is scrutinize the weight of Hollywood stars -- females in particular. If Jessica Simpson is photographed wearing an unflattering pair of high-waisted jeans, she's fat. If Beyonce Knowles dons a Thierry Mugler gown that accentuates her curvy physique, she's also fat. This concerns me. If gorgeous women like Jessica and Beyonce are "fat," what does that mean for the rest of us?

Fortunately, a celebrity story pertaining to weight loss came out today that I can get excited about! At age 48, Valerie Bertinelli has gotten her bikini bod back -- and she's showing it off on the latest cover of People magazine. Of course, it wasn't easy achieving her newly fit physique. In April 2007, the former "One Day at a Time Star" proclaimed, "I'm fat." She was 5'2" tall, weighed 172 pounds, and vowed to drop from a size 14 to a size 8. Almost two years later, the actress is in the best shape of her life after losing more than 40 pounds thanks to exercise and her

  • Meet Ashton Kutcher’s Blah Girls

"I think that teenagers are just cooler than everybody else on the planet," says Ashton Kutcher. - Jon Furniss/WireImage.comAshton Kutcher launched a new website today -- Blahgirls.com -- that features an online celebrity gossip show called "Blah, Blah, Blah" hosted by three animated teenagers named Britney, Tiffany, and Krystle. I got to chat with Ashton the other day about his Blah Girls and why he loves making fun stuff for teens.

    What is "Blah, Blah, Blah"?
"I would say it's sort of everything you need to know about celebrities with a comedic twist from an insider perspective told through the voice of three teenage animated girls."

Where did you get the idea for the show?
"It was sort of a collaboration. Todd Goldman, who's the animator, [came up with] some really funny looking characters, and I've been driving teenage girls to school for the last four years now, so I hear a lot of these conversations that take place [between teens]. After awhile everything that I was hearing from the back seat just sounded like, 'Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.' Hence, the Blah Girls were born."

    I take it

  • Patricia Field: Confessions of a Stylist

Although Patricia Field is probably most well-known for creating Carrie Bradshaw's look on "Sex and the City," she's been in the fashion business for years and has served as the costume designer for many movies and TV shows including "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Ugly Betty."

Another character lucky enough to be styled by Ms. Field is "Confessions of a Shopaholic's" Rebecca Bloomwood played by Isla Fisher. If you've never read Sophie Kinsella's best-selling series of books that the movie is based on, Bloomwood is a writer who dreams of working for her favorite fashion magazine -- and also happens to be obsessed with shopping. Although the movie doesn't debut in theaters until February 13, Field gave omg! a little insight into Rebecca's colorful wardrobe, as well as her own personal style.

How would you describe Rebecca Bloomwood's style?
"It reflects her shopaholic affliction. It's bold, it's eclectic, it's hyper-reality. Her whole room is a closet, so [her wardrobe] is massive. When you
