  • Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato Team Up

Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez play opposites in the new Disney TV movie, "Princess Protection Program." - Disney ChannelSelena Gomez and Demi Lovato are BFFs, that's why they were so excited when they found out they'd be starring together in "Princess Protection Program," a new movie that premieres this Friday, June 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the Disney Channel. In the TV flick, Selena portrays Carter Mason, a no-nonsense country girl, while Demi plays Rosalinda Marie Montoya Fiore, the teen princess of a fictitious country that has been taken over by a dictator. The two girls find themselves thrown together when Carter's dad, an agent in the Princess Protection Program -- a secret organization that rescues princesses -- brings Rosalinda (aka Rosie) home to live with them in Louisiana. I got to chat with Selena about the movie, her real-life best friend, and boys! Check out the teen queen's Q&A below:

How would you describe your character in "Princess Protection Program"?
"My character is very uncomfortable in her skin, she's still growing, has baggy clothes, and her father is her best friend, so she's kind

  • Michelle Obama’s Election Night Dress

Last night, Barack Obama made history when he was elected the 44th president of the United States! Obama was joined onstage in Chicago's Grant Park by his wife, Michelle, and their two daughters, Sasha and Malia, as he addressed an estimated crowd of 240,000 people.

While Obama's eloquent victory speech moved me to tears, unfortunately so did Michelle's dress. Barack looked sharp as can be in a dark navy suit, which was custom made by Hart Schaffner Marx, but I just wasn't feeling Michelle's splotchy red and black Narciso Rodriguez frock.

It might seem a little shallow to be discussing fashion the day after such a big moment in America's history, but I'm not the only one buzzing about Mrs. Obama's election night attire. Yahoo! users are searching like crazy for info on her dress, while critics are weighing in on whether it was a hit or miss.

Like me, LA Times blogger Elizabeth Snead was not a fan of the frock, calling it "disastrous." Of course, not everyone agrees.

  • Justin vs. Ashton in the Great Trucker Hat Debate

In the latest issue of Fashion Rocks, Justin Timberlake talks about his personal style, William Rast (the fashion line that he started up with his best friend, Trace Ayala), and trucker hats. Personally, I loathe the trucker hat look. Unless you're riding a tractor or sitting behind the wheel of a big rig, you have no business wearing one. That's why I was so confused when everyone began sporting the mesh caps back in 2002 -- and even more confused by the fact that Justin wants to stake claim to starting the terrible trend. Or did he?

Yo! Justin Timberlake does not rock in this cap. - Dave Benett/GettyImages.comDid Ashton Kutcher inspire you to buy a trucker hat? - Steve Granitz/WireImage.com

"It's funny, I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps," says Justin. "I've heard him make that statement before. Trace and I were wearing them when we were 17."

That is funny. Surely Mr. SexyBack must be joking. Then again, maybe he's still bitter over the classic "Punk'd" episode where Ashton tricked him into thinking that the IRS was confiscating his mansion and all of his belongings for back taxes. Regardless, I

  • Isla Fisher: Confessions of a Redhead

Isla Fisher is all smiles at the NYC premiere of her new movie, "Confessions of a Shopaholic." - Ray Tamarra/Getty ImagesIsla Fisher may not be a household name yet, but that doesn't mean she hasn't had some very memorable roles. Who can forget her performance as the bipolar nymphomaniac that Vince Vaughn's character winds up marrying in "Wedding Crashers," or her turn as Ryan Reynolds' free-spirited love interest in "Definitely, Maybe"? Now, the adorable redhead is making her leading lady debut in "Confessions of a Shopaholic," which opens in theaters on February 13. The charming actress called me from NYC to talk about her new movie, why fashion sometimes confuses her, and how it was her fiance Sascha Baron Cohen (the man behind such characters as Ali G., Borat, and Bruno) who convinced her that she should ditch dramas and start auditioning for comedies.

For those who haven't read the "Confessions of a Shopaholic" novels, what's the premise of the movie?
"I would say it is the story of a girl who loves shopping, and who's in debt, and who's desperate to work at a fashion magazine and, ironically, ends

  • M.I.A.: ‘My Baby Is Not Called Ickitt’

A very pregnant M.I.A. performed at the Grammys on her due date! - John Shearer/WireImage.comM.I.A. gave birth to a baby boy on February 11, just a few days after she performed "Swagga Like Us" with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, T.I., and Kanye West at the Grammys. Although Latina.com reported that the "Paper Planes" singer had named her son Ickitt -- a story that many media outlets including omg.yahoo.com had picked up -- the rapper writes on her MySpace blog that her "baby is not called Ickitt, Pickit, or Lickit. Thank you very much to all the Hollywood press. He's a baby, he don't need press." Whew! That name sounded, well, simply icky.

"I didn't release the baby name because I didn't think it was news," she continues. "But I will be back with something newsworthy soon. Till then, go pick on Apple, Satchel, and Moon Unit."

    Shall we?

  • Should Nickelodeon Stand by Chris Brown?

Should Chris Brown be up for a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award? - Kevin Mazur/WireImage.comDespite the fact that he is facing felony charges for allegedly attacking his girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown is still in the running to win two Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on March 28. And parents aren't happy about it. A group called TwitterMoms created an online petition protesting the 19-year-old's nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song ("Kiss Kiss"). Although there are 3,771 signatures (and counting) requesting that Nickelodeon remove Brown from the Kids' Choice ballot, the cable network says it is standing by the artist. But is this decision sending a bad message to kids?

"Like all our KCA nominees, Chris Brown was nominated by kids several months ago based on his work as a performer," explains a Nickelodeon rep. "And the kids who vote will ultimately decide who wins the category."

Hmmm ... so Viacom is passing the buck and letting kids make the judgment call for them? Even though Chris' PR peeps got on the singer's MySpace blog -- "Hey fans, Vote for Chris!"

  • Keri Russell Helps Tell ‘Bedtime Stories’

Keri Russell and Adam Sandler hang out at the LA premiere of "Bedtime Stories." - John Shearer/WireImage.comIt's no surprise that Adam Sandler picked Keri Russell to star in his new Disney movie, "Bedtime Stories," set to open in theaters nationwide on December 25. With her girl-next-door persona and natural beauty, who wouldn't want to play Keri's on-screen love interest? I got a chance to speak with the busy mom (who ironically starred in the all-new "Mickey Mouse Club" from 1991-1994) while she was promoting the family-friendly flick in Los Angeles and, not surprisingly, found her to be super sweet and down-to-earth. Read on to see what she had to say about the film, being a mother, and her steamy Details photo shoot.

How would you describe "Bedtime Stories"?
"I would describe it as this amazing adventure that Adam Sandler [Skeeter] takes his niece and nephew on through a series of bedtime stories. When [The kids] begin contributing to the tales, the stories start to come true and Skeeter finds himself having to survive in his real life. Somehow I end up in these crazy adventures that

  • Jet-Setting With the Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers' "Surprise Theater Invasion Tour" came to an end yesterday. If you haven't heard, Nick, Joe, and Kevin flew around the country (with a little help from NetJets and Marquis Jet) thanking their fans personally at screenings of their new movie, "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience." The teen idols kicked their whirlwind tour off in Los Angeles, then headed to NYC, followed by Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, Las Vegas, and wrapped up the tour in San Francisco. Whew!

I was lucky enough to get to join the JoBros, their parents, and their bodyguard Big Rob on Saturday night as they made their way from Atlanta to Dallas on a 9:45 p.m. flight. I had no idea what to expect and wondered if the guys would be as nice in person as they seem in television interviews. Turns out they really are! They're not only super cute, but extremely charming.

Although they'd been awake since 4 a.m. -- and giving interviews all day -- the brothers gave me a warm welcome as I climbed

  • Julia Roberts Returns to the Spotlight

Julia Roberts has kept a relatively low profile since she married cameraman Danny Moder in 2002. Instead of making movies, the popular actress put her career on the back burner to focus on being a mom to her three children: 4-year-old twins Hazel and Finn, and Henry, who is almost 2. In Allure magazine's March 2009 issue, Roberts talks openly about motherhood, men, money, and the fact that she's over being called "America's Sweetheart." That doesn't mean she doesn't like being a star. In fact, she kind of enjoys it ... until her kids become a target.

"I think it should be against the law to take a picture of a celebrity's child," notes Julia. "And all the, like, 'Who's got the cutest baby?' I had to restore my faith in people when, one night, I was on the computer, and I ended up stumbling upon some pictures I had never seen of my children playing at a park. What upset me was all these comments like, 'One is cute; that other one sure is ugly.'" People can be so mean!

    Despite this
