  • Selena Gomez Plays Big Sister

Joey King and Selena Gomez are as close as sisters. - James Devaney/WireImage.comSelena Gomez -- who turns 18 on July 22 -- and her on-screen sister Joey King, 11, walked the red carpet together at the premiere of their new movie, "Ramona and Beezus," held at Madison Square Park in NYC Tuesday.

Although I'm probably a little bit older (OK, a lot older) than the audience this film was intended for, I have to admit I kind of want to see it.

As a kid, I loved Beverly Cleary's novels about the rambunctious Ramona Quimby, who had a knack for bothering her big sis Beatrice, affectionately known as Beezus. Young Joey King seems to have been perfectly cast in the role of Ramona. She's exactly as I had always envisioned the character in my mind!

Although it's kind of surprising that the books (which have been around for over 50 years) haven't been made into a movie until now, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star revealed on "The View" Wednesday that the now 94-year-old Cleary was resistant to having her classic series brought to life on the big screen. Fortunately, Gomez

You simply need to be dedicated to working out and eating healthy. • Courteney Cox: ‘Sometimes I Use Botox’

Jenny Gage and Tom Betterton/InStyleCourteney Cox is 46, but you wouldn't know it. Of course, while she does her best to take care of her body, her youthful looks can't only be attributed to good genes. In the August issue of InStyle, the "Cougar Town" actress candidly answers questions from readers and admits that she's not above using Botox.

"Aging gracefully is one thing, but trying to slow it down is another," she says. "Sometimes I use Botox. Compared to most, I use it very sparingly. One time I did too much, though. I feel weird if I can't move my face, and that one time I overdid it, I felt trapped in my own skin. I don't have a problem with any of that stuff; if it makes you feel better about yourself and it's done properly, then fine."

Fortunately, Courteney has plenty of money now to pay for such maintenance procedures. Although her father wanted her to give up acting at one point in her career, she stuck with it.

    Fashion High
"The thrill in fashion for me is taking a risk and daring myself to make it work. Even when I go shopping, I always buy something twisted and I know I'm going to have to figure out somehow to pull it off and make it my own."

    Mini Madness
"I'm a big fan of mini-dresses -- they're my favorite silhouette -- because they're flirty and you get to show a little skin without revealing too much, especially if the sleeves are long and cover up a lot of the body. I also like dresses that come to the knee that are a little tight and show off the shape of the body."

"I like ankle boots because somehow they always give a great shape to my leg, like I've been working out a lot!"

  • Drew Barrymore Unplugged

Carter Smith/ElleLike her BFF Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore isn't afraid of aging, but she's also not afraid of going under the knife.

"I don't want to be vain or fearful, and I don't think I'll do anything [in terms of plastic surgery], but if I want to do something, I will," asserts the 35-year-old actress in the August issue of Elle. "From my perspective, there's no reason to be afraid of aging, because if you age, you're lucky! The alternative is death."

    Celebrity Style: Drew Barrymore

She's also not scared of being alone. Drew, who stars in the upcoming comedy "Going the Distance" with her ex Justin Long, is currently single, but has no qualms about it. "If you're 35 and single and it's a choice, it feels fine. So I didn't settle with the wrong person yet. Big deal!" (Um, let's not forget she did settle twice before -- she was married to Welsh bar owner Jeremy Thomas for a little over a month in 1994, and comedian Tom Green for a little over a year in 2001. Live and learn!)

  • M.I.A. in Mommy Mode

M.I.A. is usually stirring something up, but the controversial rapper seemed rather serene while in mommy mode during a trip to NYC. Although she's been doing press for her new album, /\/\/\Y/\, which drops on July 13, M.I.A. made sure to fit in some quality time with her adorable 16-month-old son Ikhyd. (Yeah, I don't know how to pronounce the album title either, but it's apparently a typographic that represents M.I.A.'s legal name Maya.)

At any rate, I love these photos. I'm so used to seeing the 34-year-old singer in some crazy performance getup that it's refreshing to catch her kicking around the East Village in cutoffs and a simple black tee. Meanwhile, how cute is little Ikhyd in his camouflage shorts?

But enough of the sentimental stuff. M.I.A.'s still got her edge. During an interview with New York's Hot 97, the typically outspoken singer did her best to clear up some misconceptions about things she's said in the press, like finding an unnamed Justin Bieber video offensive

  • Cameron Diaz: Getting Better With Age

Michelangelo Di Battista/InStyleCameron Diaz made her movie debut in 1994 at the age of 22, when she played opposite Jim Carrey in "The Mask." 16 years later, Diaz's career is still going strong -- and she's somehow managed to retain her youthful glow! The bubbly blonde, who stars in the upcoming action flick "Knight and Day" (in theaters June 23), will turn 38 on August 30, but asserts in the July issue of InStyle that she's not afraid of the aging process -- she embraces it.

See How Cameron's Style Has Evolved

"The experience of growing older is that you become more introspective," she notes. "You learn who you are and what you want. When you're in your 20s, you have no idea what the hell's going on or who you are or how the world works. Wisdom is really underrated. We are obsessed with youth, with physical youth, what we look like, and what happens to our bodies as we get older. We forget what happens to our souls, our minds, and our actual human experience."
