  • Gavin Rossdale: Rockin’ Dad

Although Gavin Rossdale used to be known primarily as Bush's lead singer, in recent years the 45-year-old rocker has become quite the family man. In the new issue of Details, Rossdale opens up about his wife Gwen Stefani -- whom he met while touring with No Doubt in 1995 --  their two sons, Kingston, 4, and Zuma, 2, and his 21-year-old daughter, Daisy, whom he didn't know he had until 2004. Check out a few of the interview highlights below, including why he's decided to get Bush back together.

Even though he's a father of three, Gavin Rossdale is still rockin' at 45! - Theo Wenner/DetailsGavin and Gwen Stefani celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in September. - Jackson Lee/Splash News

On his first date with Gwen: "I threw a party in New Orleans just as an excuse to hang out with her. We drank a bunch of hurricanes and went around the French Quarter. We had our first kiss that night, just walking around, being careful to step over the puddles of pee. The next day we had that sort of cute, embarrassed, sober meet-up."

Carter Smith/ElleFor their annual Women in Hollywood issue, Elle honors several females who have had an impact on the film industry including Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Hilary Swank. The three actresses opened up to the mag about everything from the lack of quality female roles in movies to their experiences on the casting couch. Check out a few of their choice quotes, then pick up the November issue to read more with other powerful women in the biz such as Jodie Foster, Kerry Washington, Diane Keaton, Diane Kruger, and Jessica Chastain.

    Kate Hudson

What actress do you most admire? "I wouldn't be honest if I didn't say my mom [Goldie Hawn]. Apart from the fact that she's my mother, she's a brilliant comedian and a force as a producer. She paved the way for women to produce and star in their own films, and to balance that with being the matriarch of our family is really inspiring."

  • Jerry Seinfeld Does Daddy Duty

Jerry Seinfeld makes a school run with his two boys. - Elder Ordonez/INFphoto.comIf Jerry Seinfeld was anything like the version of himself he played on his long-running sitcom, "Seinfeld," he'd still be single and finding something wrong with every woman he dated! Fortunately, the real Jerry, 56, found love with his wife Jessica, whom he's been happily married to since 1999.

The funny family man was spotted dropping off his two sons, Julian, 7, and Shepherd, 5, at school in NYC Thursday. Jerry and Jessica also have a 9-year-old daughter Sascha, but it seems Seinfeld wishes he had an even bigger brood.

"If I were younger, I'd have six kids by now," he told Parade magazine in February. "I love it. I love having a family and kids and all the madness. There is no aspect of it I don't like. Even when it's horrible, I love it. I didn't realize how tired of single life I was and how ready I was for married life."

While Seinfeld can clearly afford to give his children anything they want, the comedian makes an effort not to spoil them and tries to avoid what he calls the

Demi Lovato posed with some of the kids at Grape Street Elementary in L.A. - John Shearer/WireImage.comDemi Lovato surprised the staff and students of Grape Street Elementary in Los Angeles Wednesday with a live concert in support of OfficeMax's national teacher advocacy program, "A Day Made Better." The 18-year-old Disney star also presented a deserving teacher -- Beverly Harris -- with $1000 in school supplies courtesy of OfficeMax. (1,000 teachers across the U.S. received the same generous gift -- only Demi wasn't part of the package.)

"With the economy and budget cuts, teachers are actually paying for a lot of the supplies out of their own pocket, so I think it's really cool that [OfficeMax] is surprising teachers with supplies," Demi told JustJaredJr.com. "It's a cause I wanted to be involved in mainly because I just love performing for kids, so when I get to go out there and sing onstage and see all those little faces it makes me smile. My mom home schooled me," she continued, "so we actually paid for a lot of supplies too. We know what it's like. I feel like it's really cool

  • Justin Bieber Makes ‘U Smile’

Justin Bieber released his new music video for "U Smile" last night, which he says he made for all his fans. Although he was spotted kissing Jasmine Villegas, 16, in the back of a Honda in September, the pop star insisted that he was single while explaining the concept for his video on Twitter.

"Every interview I get asked would I date a fan," the 16-year-old wrote. "Well as a SINGLE guy, yes single, the answer is yes, I would date whoever I fell for. And that could be a fan. So the video is that story -- I meet a fan and I fall for her. I fall 4 her smile. It is the story of me and her. And she represents all of u, so when u watch tonight think that could be us :) When u smile I smile. Enjoy. Hope u like it. That was kinda corny...but honest. haha. It's cool...it's cool. I'm tight. lol."
