David Archuleta and Charice sing their hearts out at The Grove's tree lighting ceremony in Los Angeles. - Dr. Billy Ingram/WireImage.comIt never really feels like Christmas in Hollywood with all the sunshine and lack of snow, but Los Angelenos do their best to get into the holiday spirit. When temps dip to 60 degrees, folks break out their scarves and knit caps, and if they're adventurous enough to brave the crowds, they head to The Grove -- L.A.'s popular outdoor shopping venue -- for the star-studded tree lighting ceremony. It's not exactly NYC's Rockefeller Center, but you have to give them credit for trying!

This year, "Extra's" Mario Lopez hosted the festive event, which featured performances by Charice, David Archuleta, Jesse McCartney, and Corbin Bleu, who was there on behalf of the Starlight Children's Foundation collecting donations of new toys to be distributed to children who may be spending the holidays in the hospital.

  • Bieber Fever Rages On

As I'm sure everyone already knows, Justin Bieber won four American Music Awards last night including Favorite Breakthrough Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, and Favorite Pop/Rock Album. To top things off, the 16-year-old became the youngest musician to ever win Artist of the Year. I know he's got a lot of young fans, but is he really deserving of that title? Is he really better than Lady Gaga and Eminem? Apparently, he is.

Wearing an outfit almost identical to that of his mentor, Usher, JBiebs was all smiles while accepting his trophy for Artist of the Year. After thanking his fans, his team, and his parents, he gave a special shout-out to Usher, who really is responsible for putting the teen sensation on the map.

"I got this opportunity about a year and a half ago and really was embraced by a man named Usher Raymond," said Bieber. "I feel like he's had such an amazing career and it would be only right if I invited him up here to share it with me. Not only my mentor, but my

Matthew Morrison says paddle boarding helps him stay in shape: “I got my own board. It’s a great core workout.” - Norman Jean Roy/DetailsHave you seen the December/January issue of Details? Apparently, Matthew Morrison, better known as Mr. Schue on "Glee," doesn't only have a great voice, but -- as you can see -- he's got a six-pack as well. Fortunately, the mag scrapped the humorous photo shoot they had planned for the 32-year-old actor once they saw him shirtless! Despite his sudden popularity, Claire Hoffman, who conducted the interview, notes that Morrison "has resisted becoming an a--hole as a result of his success." He's also resistant to his sudden sex symbol status.

As most Gleeks know, Morrison -- who aspires to have a career like that of Michael Buble -- got his start on the Great White Way starring in musicals such as "Hairspray" and "The Light in the Piazza." "I

  • Marisa Miller Salutes the Troops

Harley-DavidsonDon't expect to see Victoria's Secret Angel Marisa Miller donning her wings in the lingerie company's annual fashion show this year. The model's got a more important project she's focusing on: Harley-Davidson's second annual Military Appreciation Month.

"We're asking Americans to go on Harley-Davidson.com, where you can personalize an electronic post card choosing from some really cool campaign images I did with Harley that are kind of a 1940s pin-up theme," she explained to omg! "You can send them to either active or retired military personnel."

It's a cause that's close to Marisa's heart. "My grandfather and my uncle served, and I get a lot of letters from overseas, so I try, whenever I get a chance, to give back to the [military]," she said. "I'm just personally really inspired by the sacrifice they make for the daily freedoms we get as Americans. So it's really important to take the time to remember the people who have served, and the men and women that are [currently serving]

  • The Kardashians Create a Frenzy in the Big Apple

Forget Bieber Fever. In case you haven't noticed, a Kardashian craze is sweeping the nation -- and that was definitely made evident at the grand opening celebration for their new Dash boutique in the Big Apple on Wednesday night. Yes, New Yorkers, brace yourselves ... the reality stars are bringing their sense of style to the fashion capital of the world!

Although Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe looked cool, calm, and collected while striking poses in chic black ensembles at the red carpet soiree, there were hundreds of fans that couldn't get past the velvet rope -- and according to the New York Daily News, many of them were rather unruly, trying desperately to catch a glimpse of the brunette beauties. A source from the NYPD told the paper that they were called to the scene "for a large crowd blocking the door." Fortunately, no one was arrested, but the cops did issue "three summonses for disorderly conduct." Really? New Yorkers making all of this fuss over the Kardashians?

    Even 25-year-old

  • Kendra: ‘I’m a Single Parent’

Kendra and Hank are already planning for baby number two, whom they hope will be a little girl just like Shiloh Jolie-Pitt! - Clint Brewer/Splash NewWhen the Philadelphia Eagles decided to drop Hank Baskett from their team roster again, and the wide receiver found a new home with the Minnesota Vikings, Kendra Wilkinson headed for the hills -- of Hollywood that is -- with the couple's 11-month-old son Hank. While it was her choice to move back to L.A. sans husband, the 25-year-old reality star dramatically declares in the new issue of Life & Style that she is a "single mom."

"Not having Hank around hurts," says Kendra. "Moving across the country by myself makes me think of my own mom who raised me and my brother alone. Hank's not going to be there forever, but with him not physically here, I'm a single parent now."

OK, I get that it must be hard for a California girl like Kendra to relocate to the chilly Midwest during football season, but maybe this is something she should have considered before marrying a pro athlete!

"I fit in well in Philly, and I could relate to all the people, but the West Coast is my home," she continues.

  • Charlie and Denise’s ‘Evenful’ Trip

Charlie Sheen is making lots of headlines today thanks to the wild night that took place in his NYC hotel room, which resulted in the drunken "Two and a Half Men" star being hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation. But earlier on Monday, Sheen appeared to be a model dad, spending quality time with his daughters Sam, 6, and Lola, 5, and his ex-wife Denise Richards at the American Museum of Natural History.

The foursome had traveled together to the Big Apple, where Richards, 39, has been doing press for Spike's "Blue Mountain State." It was a very family-friendly weekend, where the co-parents took Sam and Lola shopping at the American Girl store, and enjoyed a performance of "Mary Poppins" on Broadway. Unfortunately, after his little girls went to bed, Sheen was ready to party.

Police responded to call from The Plaza Hotel, where they discovered the inebriated star naked in the famed Eloise Suite, which is named after the popular children's book about a girl named Eloise who lives

  • Jen and Violet’s Rainy Day

Jennifer Garner and her daughter Violet enjoy a rainy day in Los Angeles. - Splash NewsThe unseasonably rainy L.A. weather couldn't keep Jennifer Garner and her daughter Violet from making a trip to the Brentwood Country Mart in Brentwood, California. While Garner dodged raindrops in the parking lot, her 4-year-old squealed with delight as she splashed through puddles in a slicker.

I'm sure Violet is probably also giddy about the fact that Halloween is right around the corner. When asked what her girls would be dressing up as for the holiday, Garner told People, "It seems like every time we ask [Seraphina, 21 months], it's a different farm animal. My oldest daughter [Violet] has a very clear idea, but it's contingent upon my younger daughter." Think Jen and her hubby Ben Affleck will be donning costumes as well?

"I don't know that my husband and I will be dressing up this year," she laughed while chatting with "Extra." "Hopefully we're out of that phase. The worst was when I was seven months pregnant and I was dressed in a dog costume because my daughter insisted that

  • Julianne Moore: ‘I Don’t Love My Freckles’

Tom Munro/AllureJulianne Moore will turn 50 on December 3. While it's hard to believe, Moore, who got her start on the daytime soap "As the World Turns" in the '80s and is now one of the most well-respected actresses in Hollywood, probably has her fair skin to thank for aging so gracefully. A lover of swimming and the beach, Moore makes sure to cover up when she's in the sun. "I have what I call 'my outfit,'" she laughs in the new issue of Allure. "I wear a long-sleeved rash guard and a pair of board shorts. It's not so sexy, but I keep myself covered. My husband [Bart Freundlich] hates it. But if you ever see me at a water park, that's what I'll be wearing."

    Check out Julianne's Style Evolution

Teased about her freckled complexion while growing up, Moore decided to write a children's book inspired by her experience called Freckleface Strawberry, which has recently been turned into an off-Broadway musical. "There are so many children's books about loving yourself," she notes. "I don't love my freckles
