But on Thursday, before playing a concert in Macon, Georgia, country superstar Lambert was the one excited to meet someone she adores: reality star Honey Boo Boo.

The "House That Built Me" singer met 7-year-old Alana Thompson, of TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," and her family at the venue just outside their tiny hometown of McIntyre, Georgia.

"They are so sweet," Lambert, 29, captioned a snap she posted to Twitter of herself alongside Honey Boo Boo, the pageant queen's parents, June "Mama" Shannon and Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, and older sisters Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, Anna "Chickadee" Shannon, and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon. She even invoked Honey Boo Boo's signature phrases when she wrote, "You'd better redneckognize!"
