The mom-to-be opened up about the somewhat delicate subject of raising a biracial child with her African-American beau Kanye West during an interview with BET in New York on Wednesday.

"I have a lot of friends who are of all different nationalities and their children are bi-racial so they've talked to me a little bit about it and what to expect," the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star said as she promoted her Tyler Perry movie "Temptation." "The most important thing is, the way I want to raise my children is to not see color. That's important to me."

UPDATE: "omg! Insider's" Kevin Frazier spoke with Pat Houston Tuesday evening, and she explained to him that she'd never hurt herself and this was indeed a complete misunderstanding. She tells Frazier that she's very upset by the reports that she attempted to commit suicide, and wants everyone to know that she'd never hurt herself.

She had injured her back a while ago and then re-injured it yesterday working out with her daughter. When she wrote on Facebook that she was "tired," and "want(ed) to finally rest," she meant that she wanted to just take the day off because her back hurt. But then her statement was misinterpreted -- a case of a social media post gone wrong. She tells Frazier that she had literally just wanted to rest ... not "rest in peace"!

When her family couldn't reach her on the phone because she had taken a pain pill that made her fall asleep, that's when the police came over. The police took her to the hospital as a precaution because that's procedure when they have to show up.

Houston tells Frazier that she's upset that inaccurate reports out there about this incident would send the wrong message -- especially to young girls, whom she mentors. She would never hurt herself. That is just not her.

Pat Houston, the sister-in-law and manager of the late Whitney Houston, gave her family quite a scare Tuesday.

The wife of Whitney's brother Gary posted an ominous status on her Facebook page, writing "Sometimes you just feel like giving up on life and its many challenges. And for the first time in my life… I'm tired…and I want to finally rest. I love you guys." Then, she went completely off the grid for a few hours, and didn't respond to any texts or phone calls about the glum status update. That was enough to prompt family and friends of the woman who rarely posts anything on Facebook and always returns calls and texts, to phone the police near Pat's home in Alpharetta, Georgia. When officers arrived, they found Pat in her bedroom and rushed her to the hospital.

Although it sounds very dramatic, a source close to the family assures omg! that it was all a "complete misunderstanding."

The "Walk the Line" actress, born on March 22, was whisked away to the ocean-front Capella Pedregal resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for four days of relaxation and pampering by her husband, Jim Toth. The two traveled without children Ava and Deacon (whose dad is actor Ryan Phillippe) and baby Tennessee (whose dad is Toth), and spent most of their time on holiday with just the two of them dining on their private patio and lounging by their private pool, according to People.

"They had a butler that served them lunch, and they eat healthy local food, including fresh fish, with rosé wine," a source told the magazine. "Reese and Jim looked very happy together. The busy couple rested every afternoon and also enjoyed the resort's spa."

The 28-year-old royal will be skipping the city on his first trip back to the United States since that nude photo scandal erupted after his last visit in August. At that time, pics of the third in line to the British throne partying nude with equally bare ladies in a VIP hotel suite in Las Vegas leaked onto the Internet, sparking a firestorm of bad publicity for the royal family. (Prince Harry, a captain in Britain's Army Air Corps, has managed to stay out of trouble since then, largely because he was deployed to Afghanistan for four months, beginning in September.)

However, he'll be returning stateside May 9-15 for charity events, focused mostly on those that help injured servicemen and women from the U.S. and U.K. armed forces. He'll be in Washington, D.C., where he’ll visit Arlington National Cemetery and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center; New Jersey for meetings with Hurricane Sandy victims; New York City to play in a community baseball event; and will make additional stops for similar events in Connecticut, Denver, and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Although the 26-year-old still has plenty of other legal woes, she will not face charges for a Nov. 29 incident at a NYC nightclub, where she supposedly hit a woman.

The Los Angeles Times reports that powerhouse attorney Gloria Allred, who is representing the woman, a psychic named Tiffany Mitchell, says Mitchell is "very disappointed" the district attorney has decided not to prosecute LiLo.

"My Prerogative" singer Bobby Brown is not doing things his way right now.

The 44-year-old reported to court on Wednesday to begin serving his sentence of 55 days in jail for a DUI charge that he pleaded no contest to back in February following an October arrest in L.A. The Los Angeles Times reports that Brown is likely to serve no more than nine days in county jail, because of jail overcrowding and other factors.

The sentence also requires Brown to serve four years of informal probation, complete an 18-month program on alcohol treatment, and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week.
