Justin Bieber is heartbroken today after one of his youngest fans, 6-year-old Avalanna Routh – who was better known as Mrs. Bieber – died of cancer. The "Boyfriend" singer tweeted a sweet message about the Boston girl on Wednesday afternoon, writing, "just got the worst news ever. one of the greatest spirits i have ever known is gone. please pray for her family and for her. Routh gained national attention last year when she pretended to marry Bieber in a wedding ceremony staged by the doctors and nurses at the Boston hospital where she was being treated. The day before Valentine's Day, the singer himself flew her and her parents to meet him in New York, where they spent an afternoon playing board games and just hanging out. The Biebs even let the cutie play with his famous hair! At the time he tweeted, "That was one of the best things iRead More »from Justin Bieber tweets about death of 6-year-old fan known as Mrs. Bieber

  • Miley Cyrus says she was inspired by Motown for her new album

Miley Cyrus talks about her new tunes. (WireImage)It was just last year that Miley Cyrus was wrapping up "Hannah Montana" on the Disney Channel, and she didn't waste any time leaving her former child star status behind. Not only has the 19-year-old since become engaged to her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, but she's also making some big moves in her career. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the singer/actress revealed that fans can expect some new music from her — soon. "I'm thinking hopefully November for a single," she told the magazine. "It's just whenever we feel we've got that [song] we feel really confident in being the first single. I've got songs right now I feel like could potentially be singles, [but] it's been two years that I haven't said anything, and I want that to be the right thing we say." Of course, the more grown-up Cyrus has been more involved in this album than in previous efforts. "I worked with Pharrell on a bunch of things, and Pop & Oak, and I've just been writing, mostly, focusing on what I want to say, rather than turning it into a label later and not knowing what my sound is going to be."

Sean Kingston and Justin Bieber bro it out. (Kevin Mazur/WireImage)Turns out, Justin Bieber didn't give his good friend Sean Kingston his $100,000 Fisker Karma hybrid after all. Kingston told TMZ cameras over the weekend that the gift was just another perk of his close ties to the Biebs. "When you're best friends with one of the biggest artists in the world, you get all different types of gifts. And this is one of them," Kingston bragged, adding that Bieber planned to get a newer model of the vehicle. However, Bieber tweeted Monday that it wasn't true he'd given away the 18th birthday gift that manager Scooter Braun gave him back in March. "i might let a friend drive my car but i didnt give him my car. #rumors #funnystuff," Bieber wrote.

  • Claire Danes: I cannot imagine being Angelina Jolie

Cass BirdClaire Danes, who now stars in the Emmy-nominated Showtime drama "Homeland," admits in a new interview with T, the style magazine of The New York Times, that some of her earlier work wasn't the most challenging. After she became famous on the '90s drama "My So-Called Life," her credits included movies like Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo + Juliet," Steve Martin's "Shopgirl," and "Evening" with Meryl Streep. Then in 2010, she won an Emmy for playing the autistic title character in HBO movie "Temple Grandin." After that, she didn't work for about two years — that's a long time in Hollywood! — partly because she couldn't find a role that she wanted. "I didn't want to go back to ingenues," she explains. "Because I ingenued the hell out of it for a while." She's nominated for an Emmy again this year for her role as a CIA agent in "Homeland," a show she signed on to do for up to seven years.
