  • Snooki’s Novel Plan

"Jersey Shore" star Snooki will soon be a published author. - Russ Einhorn/Splash NewsAlthough I have no proof "Jersey Shore" star Snooki has ever read a book -- she's usually drinking, scooping gelato, or getting her groove on at the club on her MTV show -- she has apparently sealed a deal to write one. Simon and Schuster said Wednesday it will publish a novel by the reality star about "a girl looking for love on the boardwalk (one full of big hair, dark tans, and fights galore)." Sound familiar?

Snooki proclaims it will "have you falling in love at the shore," and has named the book, appropriately enough, A Shore Thing. Fans can find it on bookstore shelves in early 2011.

Next thing you know, Snooks will have enough for a follow up about a 22-year-old who, not long ago, was plucked from obscurity to fist-pump her way into American hearts. The poufy-haired Princess of Poughkeepsie will have plenty of stories to base her fiction on, including her recent hobnobbing with reality's reigning royal family, the Kardashians. Snooki spent the evening with Kim K., Kourtney, and

  • Joe Jonas’ Sweet Week

While life is always pretty fab for 21-year-old Joe Jonas -- he has a great gig with the Jonas Brothers and has dated a slew of starlets in his age group -- this week has been particularly remarkable for several reasons.

Joe, with bros Nick and Kevin, rocks Arthur Ashe Kids' Day in Queens, New York, last month. - Juan Solis/PacificCoastNews.com

First, none other than the curvaceous Kim Kardashian tweeted she was filming a commercial with the JoBros. "This commercial is gonna be awesome! Me, Betty White, and The Jonas Brothers! Can't wait for u to see it! Its sooo California *hint hint*," the reality hottie cryptically wrote Friday.

Joe and Ashley Greene spend some QT together at a Road Dogs softball game in Newark, New Jersey, in August. - Jackson Lee/Splash News Kim K.'s pal Justin Bieber shouldn't be too jealous, though. By Sunday, Joe was spotted hanging out with "Twilight's" Ashley Greene, 23, at LA's Hollywood Bowl. The two caught a show from indie rock band Vampire Weekend. Rumors have swirled for months that the two are dating, but Joe and Ashley have stayed mum on the subject. All we know is they've been photographed together several times since hooking up (maybe as friends, maybe as more) in London last July.

  • Joe Jonas’ Good Deed

I don't know about you, but I'm still more than a little unhappy with Joe Jonas for initiating the big breakup with his "Camp Rock" co-star and summer touring partner, Demi Lovato. However, it's awfully difficult to stay mad at such a do-gooder.

Joe Jonas and Prince William join forces for a good cause in Maun, Botswana. - Samir Hussein/WireImage.com

On Tuesday, the middle JoBro proved once again that no matter how many hearts he breaks in his love life (who could break up with Taylor Swift?!), he's still an awfully good guy when it comes to philanthropy. Joe teamed up with Britain's Prince William to hang out with more than 250 schoolchildren in Maun, Botswana, in southern Africa. The 20-year-old helped the royal heir teach the kids about saving the planet for the Coach for Conservation project, performed a little music, and basically made the girls swoon.

One 16-year-old fan, Megan Butler, eloquently explained to BBC News what I'm guessing most of the girls there were thinking: "I like Prince William as well, but I was more excited about seeing Joe."

For Joe, the event was just one

  • Tori Presents Her Children’s Book

Tori Spelling shows off her latest book at a branch of the New York Public Library on Wednesday in NYC. - Ben Hider/Getty Images North AmericaAlthough you probably know her best from her reality show or, like me, from the original "Beverly Hills, 90210," these days Tori Spelling has become quite the author. The actress recently released her fourth book, a children's tale called "Presenting ... Tallulah" about a little girl figuring out who she is.

Tori, who must be a pro on book tours by now, signed copies of her latest work Wednesday at a Borders in NYC. The "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" star even posed for party pics with some of her fans and their little ones.

When she announced her plan to take on the project in February, the mother of 3-year-old Liam and 2-year-old Stella cited her own tiny tots. "I love reading to my kids," Tori said. "It's our special time together. That and my passion for storytelling inspired me to write a children's book of my own to read to them and children everywhere."

Promoting the new book has taken Tori away from her kids at times, but she always seems excited to reunite with them. On
