On Wednesday’s "American Idol," Nicki Minaj arrived nearly 15 minutes late for the live show, leaving Ryan Seacrest to explain to viewers that the “Starships” singer was caught in traffic and leaving the other judges – including an unimpressed Mariah Carey – to critique the first competitor on their own. The 30-year-old eventually showed up, but perhaps she had no time to make it to hair and makeup as she fulfilled her judging duties beneath a black hooded sweatshirt while masking her face with big sunglasses.

Despite instances of unprofessionalism on “Idol” this season – need we remind you of her curse-filled spat with Carey during auditions? – in a new interview, Minaj says she has grand ambitions when it comes to her career.

The former Mrs. Tiger Woods, 33, is reportedly dating billionaire coal magnate Chris Cline, a neighbor in her upscale North Palm Beach, Florida, community called Seminole Landing.

"Elin was introduced to Chris by a local friend because they seem to have a lot in common," a source told People, noting that they've been dating casually and non-exclusively since the holidays. "They both have children, like to keep their personal lives quiet, believe in philanthropy, and enjoy leisure outdoor activity."

Shakira's 7-week-old son just might be the world's tiniest soccer fan.

The pop star and her boyfriend, pro soccer player Gerard Pique, who welcomed little Milan on January 22, posted a pic of themselves with their tot clad in a jersey from his dad's team, Futbol Club Barcelona, on Tuesday. The family photo was taken at Futbol Club Barcelona's home stadium after the team had defeated rivals A.C. Milan 4-0.

While she talked mostly about her new thriller "The Call," in which she plays a 911 operator, she also chatted about Bond girls (she played one in 2002’s “Die Another Day”), her role in next year's sequel "X-Men: Days of Future Past," and her red-carpet dress for the Oscars, which she likened to "a Ferarri." Despite the conversation, it was the assets showcased by Berry's Reem Acra dress that really stole the show!

The following morning, the Oscar-winning beauty showed another side as she talked about her daughter Nahla's upcoming birthday party. Berry's adorable daughter, who turns 5 on March 16, will take some treats to school and be guest of honor at a bash.

January 1: A paparazzo in pursuit of Bieber's white Ferrari (though, it turns out Bieber is not even in the car) is struck by another motorist and killed. Bieber issues a statement that his "thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim" and he hopes "this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation … to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves." Despite the public statement, there's speculation that Bieber is less than heartbroken by the tragic turn of events.
