It's been quite the week for Hamm and his wardrobe from the period show, rumored to be picking up in 1969, the start of civil unrest in the U.S. and some terrible, terrible threads like polyester.

Brie on Wednesday night. (Getty Images)Alison Brie, who portrays Vincent Kartheiser's on-screen wife on AMC's "Mad Men," did a little thinking Wednesday about a wedding gift for her costar and his newly-minted fiancée Alexis Bledel.

The Director's Guild of America hosted the drama's sixth season premiere, where we asked how to shop for someone as quirky as Kartheiser: he used to rely solely on public transit (rare in Los Angeles), lived in what he called a "wooden box," and talked about forgoing having children as an environmental cause.

Not everyone is curtsying over Beyoncé's new single, "Bow Down / I've Been On."

R&B singer Keyshia Cole took to Twitter to vent frustrations about the just-released track, an aggressive meditation on why Bey is queen.

"Can't stand when people all self righteous when it's convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk sh*t when convenient 2," she wrote.

While Beyoncé's last record "4" featured female empowerment hits like "Run The World," the new track is bold in the hierarchy it establishes: Beyoncé and everyone else.

"I know when you were little girls you dreamt of being in my world. Don't forget it. Respect that," she sings. "Bow down, b*tches."

Cole dug further at the conflicting ideals.

  • Should Brad Pitt Let Jennifer Aniston Get Married First?

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux (Jason Merritt/Getty Images)Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ( Steve Branitz/WireImage)

By all indications, Jennifer Aniston's upcoming wedding to actor Justin Theroux is happening soon – but let us not forget that her equally famous ex-husband, Brad Pitt, is also betrothed. (Perhaps you've heard of Pitt's fiancee, Angelina Jolie)

While media speculation says the two couples may be racing to the altar, we decided to ask the authority on American weddings what the correct protocol is, on the issue of "who goes first" and other aspects of a remarriage.

Anna Post, great-great-granddaughter of etiquette queen Emily Post, was happy to help omg! figure out the rules. For starters, she's OK with Jolie walking down the aisle first.

"If someone is together longer, I'd say it might be acceptable to go first," Post says. Pitt and Jolie famously got together on the heels of his 2005 divorce from Aniston, so they'd qualify as first-up couple.

"In some cases … if the man is being a gentleman, he might touch base with his former wife and offer to let her go first."

  • From Maid to Model: Camila Alves Shares Cinderella Story

Camila Alves and husband Matthew McConaughey (Getty Images)It hasn’t been all red carpets and runways for Matthew McConaughey's gorgeous bride, Camila Alves.

Stopping by "The View" on Wednesday, the Brazilian model revealed that when she arrived in America at age 19, she couldn't speak much English and worked as a maid.

"I come from a simple background, so I couldn’t call my father and say, 'Come pay my bills,'" the 31-year-old said, "so I had to get out there and work."

The mother of three -- Levi, 4, Vida, 3, and infant Livingston -- credits her father for her work ethic.

"My father always told me, 'Before you become a queen you have to learn how to take care of your own things.’ So I knew how to do all of it, but I had never really done it on a daily basis. So I was cleaning houses and I started working restaurants," she said.
