Actress Sarah Jessica Parker covers the new Marie Claire . - TeshFor Sarah Jessica Parker, it's a problem she faces every day: how to raise her three children to have "normal" lives and values when she and her husband of 14 years, Matthew Broderick, are extraordinarily famous. The "Sex and the City" star admits in the new Marie Claire that, even now, she struggles being a working mom to James Wilkie, 8, and 2-year-old twins Marion and Tabatha (nicknamed Kitty and Babe).
"We didn't have a lot when I was growing up, and it's the best thing that happened to me because I appreciate everything," Parker explains. "I developed a really strong work ethic, and I don't take anything for granted." The red carpet icon, 46, notes that she goes to great pains not to act like a celebrity diva by taking the subway, doing her own grocery shopping, and dropping her kids off at school.
In fact, she's so down-to-earth that SJP says she was shocked when the New York Post claimed she used her status to try and get out of jury duty -- an assertion she denies. "For Page

Gwen spent time on Wednesday at the park with her youngest son, Zuma. - Juan Sharma/Bruja/PacificCoastNews.comGwen Stefani can try to be just a regular mom, but she somehow manages to look super cool even when she's just carting her kids around town. On Wednesday, the rocker donned a chic black dress, studded belt, and giant shades when she took her youngest son, Zuma, who turns 3 later this month, to a Los Angeles park.
The rocker even mingled with the other moms. - Juan Sharma/Bruja/PacificCoastNews.com The 41-year-old looked on as Zuma played in the sandbox, took time out to brush the little guy's hair, and even socialized with some of the other moms (who were probably wondering if they should have dressed up a bit more given the impromptu photo shoot). While Gwen might be busy recording her band No Doubt's first studio album in a decade, she clearly still loves spending time on her most important projects ... her boys.
