The “Dancing With the Stars” co-host may have had to undergo surgery for thyroid cancer late last year, but she’s fortunate she was able to catch the disease at such an early stage in the first place … a move that may have helped save her life.

“I had no symptoms. It was crazy. Not one. Never felt better,” Burke-Charvet says of the day she went in for a routine physical and her doctor discovered a lump on her thyroid that turned out to be cancerous. Knowing the thyroidectomy was ahead of her, the 41-year-old tried to arm herself with knowledge.

“I do like to hang out with the old homeless. They’ve got a lot of interesting things to say, some of them,” said Brand, who made the appearance to promote the return his FX talk show, “BrandX.” “Some of them do seem to be living outside of convention and they’ve got access to interesting information.”

NFL Hall of Famer Dan Marino has become the latest famous married man to admit that he fathered a child out of wedlock.

The former Miami Dolphins quarterback – who has six adult children with wife Claire – is also the father of a 7-year-old daughter, the result of his affair with a former CBS production assistant named Donna Savattere. “This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then. We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved,” he said in a statement to the New York Post on Wednesday.
