Although Brown’s “focus on my career” excuse is a good one – after all, his new album, Fortune, only sold 45,000 copies in its second week and was widely panned by critics – it seems he instead wants to focus on Rihanna.

The actress’ mom, Dina, told “Entertainment Tonight” that her oldest daughter “is understandably rattled and quite shaken by what she experienced … I have complete faith they will bring this criminal matter to its rightful conclusion.” That doesn’t seem likely now. Not long after LaBella, a legislative aide for Rep. John Shimkus (R-Ill.), was charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault and two counts of harassment, those charges were dropped by the NYPD after its investigation concluded there had been no assault.

A wheelchair-bound 540-pound man named Freddie Combs wowed the judges on “The X Factor” on Thursday night (and even brought Britney Spears to tears) with his rendition of Bette Midler’s “Wind Beneath My Wings,” but it’s not the first time he’s performed for a national audience. In 2010, Combs, a self-proclaimed minister, and his equally-overweight wife Kay, starred in their own (albeit short-lived) TLC reality series, “Ton of Love.”

Although Freddie, 41, presented himself as a loving husband on “X Factor” and even dedicated his song to his wife, “Ton of Love” depicted an impatient, lazy man who yelled for his wife to wait on him hand and foot. “I began needing help taking care of myself two weeks into our marriage,” Freddie says in an online clip of the show. He’s then shown sitting in front of a Styrofoam box of takeout food asking Kay for a spoon. When she hands him one, he holds it up along with a fork and complains, “These are not the same weight.”

Talking to CBS’ Lesley Stahl, the former California governor cops to his wrongdoing, which was revealed in May 2011, although he doesn’t exactly apologize for it either.

In a preview clip of the one-on-one, Stahl notes that his wife of 26 years Maria Shriver “gave up her television career” to support his political aspirations, adding, "I mean, wow! Was this just the most unbelievable act of betrayal to Maria?" The “Terminator” actor, 65, admits, “I think it was the stupidest thing I've done in the whole relationship. It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids." (The former couple has Katherine, 22, Christina, 21, Patrick, 19, and Christopher, 15, who is about the same age as Schwarzenegger’s love child with maid Mildred Baena, Joseph.)

Bynes. (Splash News)Amanda Bynes insists she’s an innocent woman. Nearly four months after pleading not guilty to DUI, she has entered the same plea for two misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run (and for those keeping count, she has also been charged with two counts of driving on a suspended license, but has yet to make a plea in that case).

Although a Los Angeles judge warned the actress that she should appear in court, the 26-year-old was a no-show because she has been in New York City the past week. Instead, her attorney Richard Hutton entered her not guilty plea on her behalf. He also refused to comment to the media on his client.

Bynes may have switched coasts, but the Big Apple is proving to be just as much trouble for her. On Wednesday night, she reportedly spent 30 minutes locked in a bathroom at the Little Cupcake Bakeshop in SoHo. In a new interview with “Entertainment Tonight” that will air on Thursday, Dina Lohan doles out some advice to Bynes’ reportedly estranged parents – because, after all, her daughter turned out so well.

"You know, I'm a mother, and I feel that that's for her mother to speak about, and not me, because people have spoken for my child and myself, so I really feel that's for her parents to discuss and Amanda herself," says Dina … who then goes on to give the Bynes family advice anyway. "Just be around … It's hard when your daughter's not, you know, over 18, and you want to let them go … and they want to, you know, feel like they're in control of themselves. So it's a very strategic place for a parent to be, but she'll be ok."

(WireImage)One week after tweeting a photo of himself driving while holding a gun, Nick Gordon, boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, has crashed his car … under very mysterious circumstances. TMZ reports that the 22-year-old was arguing with Whitney Houston’s daughter when he somehow lost control of his black 2012 Camaro. Although the airbags were deployed, the front bumper was torn off, and the front right tire fell off, Gordon did not call police or 911 for help.

In fact, law enforcement in Alpharetta, Georgia, was only made aware of the single-car crash when a unit was called by a neighbor to check out a disturbance at the couple’s apartment. According to TMZ’s sources, neither Gordon nor 19-year-old Brown answered the door, but police did notice the banged-up car parked outside with its hazard lights flashing.
