Helmsley in 2002. (Evan Agostini/Getty Images)Sherman Hemsley has finally found his deluxe apartment in the sky. “The Jeffersons” star died at his home in El Paso, Texas, on Tuesday at the age of 74. Hemsley, who won laughs as the grumpy George Jefferson on the CBS sitcom, a spin-off of “All in the Family,” for 11 season from 1975 to 1985, was discovered by his nurse, according to TMZ, and is believed to have died from natural causes.

Hemsley, who also starred as Deacon Ernest Frye in “Amen” from 1986 to 1991, had been retired from acting for some time, but did reprise his loveable character over the years alongside his onscreen wife “Weezy” (the late Isabel Sanford) for commercials for Old Navy, Gap, and Denny's.

The actor, who had no wife or children, was also a singer and released a single, "Ain't That a Kick in the Head," in 1989, and an R&B album called Dance two years later.

In an interview with C magazine just one day before she filed for divorce from Tom Cruise on June 29, the actress was uncharacteristically ambivalent about her movie star husband when asked about their relationship – which she had previously gushed about every chance she got. When the magazine’s editor Kelsey McKinnon asked Holmes if their daughter, Suri, 6, brought the couple closer together, she became flustered and stammered, “I don’t know. I mean … I don’t know. People have been having babies a long time.”

In fact, when McKinnon went back over the transcript of the interview, she noticed that Holmes, 33, had not mentioned Cruise’s name one time. And knowing now what she didn’t then, the magazine editor also realized the actress was possibly hinting at her life post-Cruise. Less than a week after the 63-year-old fashion designer announced she had split from her husband of 23 years, Arthur Becker, it’s being reported that “something is going on” between her and the ice skater, who is 36 years her junior. According to the New York Daily News, Lysacek moved into her home last month and has been spotted around town driving a white Bentley and rocking a huge Rolex watch. Wang, adds a second source, is “just enamored with him and enjoys his company.”

The unlikely pairing is not a new thing. On Tuesday, the NBA forward tweeted his excitement about re-signing with the Brooklyn Nets for a two-year $24 million deal and also managed to work in a jab at his ex’s new boyfriend, Kanye West, who rapped about having his pal Jay-Z, part-owner of the basketball team, boot him from the squad in the song “Cold." “I'm up at Brooklyn! @S_C_ [Jay-Z’s twitter handle],” Humphries, 27, wrote and then included West’s lyric, "lucky I didn't have Jay drop [him] from the team" before ending it with “lol!”

Despite a lawsuit against her for canceling a gig last month at T’s Lounge, the single mom of 14 rubbed it in their faces by taking it all off on Friday night at the rival Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club. During her two 12-minute sets in front of a crowd of 400-plus, Suleman worked the pole for dollar bills dressed up as a dominatrix in a black latex bra and panties and a pig-tailed schoolgirl.

Although patrons of the club seemed to enjoy Suleman’s amateur attempt at stripping, the pros at Playhouse didn’t exactly give her a glowing review. One dancer named Jennifer described Octomom, 37, as “really stiff” to The Miami Herald. “Oh my God, she can’t dance. But it’s good for the rest of us because she made it a busy Friday night. We’re going to get extra tips.”

Sly and Sage Stallone. (WireImage)The 36-year-old son of Sylvester Stallone was found dead in his Hollywood Hills apartment on Friday. Sage, who starred alongside his famous father in 1990’s “Rocky 5,” is believed to have overdosed on prescription pills, reports TMZ. Sage’s body was discovered by LAPD at 2:17 pm during a welfare check because he had not been heard from for some time. Although paramedics were called immediately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Sources tells TMZ that Sylvester, who was promoting “The Expendables 2” at Comic-Con in San Diego just yesterday, is a “wreck.”

After the tragic news broke, Stallone released a statement expressing his pain. "Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone," says a rep for the actor. "His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man, his loss will be felt forever."
