Though she may sing about heartbreak and angst in her songs, Alanis Morissette was beaming with joy as she and her husband Mario "M.C. Souleye" Treadway stepped out with their son Ever Imre in Santa Monica, California, on Monday.

The proud mamma, who was sporting bell-bottom jeans and a camouflage top, couldn't stop smiling as she and Treadway strolled around the neighborhood with their 3-month-old cutie, who was born on Christmas day.

In a recent Facebook post, Morissette wrote, "I am so grateful for all the kind congratulations you have sent to me and Souleye. We are deeply touched by your kindnesses. Ever has cracked open a door in my heart that I had been dusting off for years in anticipation of this kind of opportunity to love, and what I have found on the other side is no less than a golden healing balm and celebration ... and a responsibility that I feel blessed to take on.
