We're thinking that 9-year-old Beatrice is going to be pretty popular with her classmates from now on. The precocious pre-teen pulled off the celebrity encounter of a lifetime after she wrote Captain Jack Sparrow -- aka Johnny Depp -- a letter asking for his help with a minor mutiny at her Greenwich, London, elementary school.

At Meridian on Old Woolwich Road we are all a bunch of budding young pirates. Normally we're a right handful but we're having trouble mutinying against the teachers!

Depp was filming the fourth installment of the Pirates franchise, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," at the nearby 18th century Old Naval College when the letter found its way to him, and after giving the school's teachers about 10 minutes notice, Depp popped in for a visit along with a few of his crew, all dressed in full pirate regalia.
