Just days after he and Catherine Zeta-Jones got all glammed up to attend the Golden Globe awards in Los Angeles, Michael Douglas was back to his regular daddy duties in NYC. The "Wall Street" star was spotted taking his 7-year-old daughter Carys to school Wednesday, and the two trekked there like true New Yorkers -- via the subway.

On the red carpet at the Globes, Ryan Seacrest asked Michael how he was feeling, and the actor, who looks far more robust than he did a few months ago, was upbeat: "Great," he replied with a smile, adding, "Tumor's gone. This type of cancer doesn't usually come back. I have to check in every month but I'm so happy to be out ... Being able to come to this thing cancer-free is pretty special."

When he took to the stage to receive the Icon Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival last week, Douglas shared that his fight with cancer had brought him closer than ever to his family. "One thing that all cancer survivors talk about is a new depth of feeling that you

  • Jennifer Garner: Master Chef

Jennifer Garner put in a serious bid for America's Sweetheart when she hosted Frigidaire and Save the Children's Make Time for Change initiative in New York last October. The actress continued to melt hearts -- and chocolate -- when she helped Frigidaire launch The Kids' Cooking Academy on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Save the Children's online Cooking Academy program -- with web cooking lessons hosted by chef Mary Sue Milliken -- aims to inspire families to feed their kids healthy meals that they can all make together. The best part is, each time a parent signs up to receive Garner and Milliken's daily cooking tips and kid-friendly recipes, Frigidaire will donate $1 toward Save the Children's U.S. programs, which provide nutritious food to underprivileged children.

"It's so important to teach kids how to feed their bodies," said Garner. "You can't learn, you can't pay attention in school, and you can't be active if your brain isn't well-fed and if your body isn't healthy. The

  • Kristen Stewart: I Can’t Ever Be ‘Some Girl’ Again

Kristen Stewart graces the February cover of Vogue. - Mario Testino/VogueThough thousands of teenagers across the globe may end up in a catatonic state when the "Twilight" saga finally draws to a close on screen, Kristen Stewart is taking the series ending rather well. The reluctant star opens up to Vogue about the pros and cons of being thrust into the spotlight, identifying with her fans, and those pesky Robert Pattinson rumors.

When "Twilight" first hit theaters in 2008, Kristen Stewart had to deal with serious fame for the first time. This involved a lot of awkward TV interviews where the actress clearly looked like she'd rather be any place but in the interviewee chair. In the years-- and sequels -- since then, she's learned to embrace the "Twilight" juggernaut, and appreciate the uniqueness of her situation. Bella Swan, she says, is "a character who is embedded in so many people's psyches at this point. It's starting to enter my head a lot more than it used to because it's at the end and it's come such a long way. I just want the fans of the book to

  • Michelle Williams: ‘There’s a Hole’ in My Life

Michelle Williams graces the February cover of Marie Claire. - Tesh/Marie ClaireIt's been almost three years since Heath Ledger's death and his former fiancée, Michelle Williams, is only now opening up about her struggle to return to normality since his loss. The "Blue Valentine" star talks to Marie Claire about losing Ledger, raising their daughter Matilda Rose as a single parent, and how her work saved her when she was lost in her own grief.

Heath Ledger died from an accidental drug overdose on January 22, 2008, five months after he and Williams had separated, at the age of 28. Their daughter, Matilda Rose, was 2 years old. Though the couple had split, Ledger was still a huge part of Williams' life, and his passing hit her hard, and continues to do so three years down the road. "Very obviously, for me and for her [daughter Matilda], there's a hole in our life," Williams says, adding, "Of course the natural inclination is to want to fill it and make it disappear, but what I've come to recently is that it's impossible. Nothing will fit in that hole because what

  • Jessica’s Little Girl Gets Training Wheels

Do you remember getting your first bike? Training wheels and all, it was a cool graduation from your baby tricycle -- especially if you had an older brother of sister around who was way ahead of you speeding down the sidewalk on their two-wheeler! Little Honor Warren got to experience that simple thrill Wednesday when her mom Jessica Alba took her to Helen's Cycles in Santa Monica, California, to pick out her first big girl bike.

After test riding a few different bicycles, Honor, who turns three in June, settled on a shiny new purple number with pink rims, a white seat, and training wheels. The bike was even on sale for $119.99.

For Jessica, safety is the number one priority, so along with her bike, Honor scored a bright pink helmet that she loved so much, she wouldn't let it leave her head, even when they left the store!

Sarah Jessica Parker and her twins walk James Wilkie to school in New York. - Splash NewsSo cute! Sarah Jessica Parker braved the bitterly cold Manhattan weather to walk her son James Wilkie to school Tuesday, and along for the ride were her adorable twin daughters, Marion and Tabitha. While SJP and James Wilkie played it casual in denim and woolly beanies, the 18-month old twins were all dressed up in matching furry hooded jackets, white stockings, and baby UGG boots.

In a recent interview with Parade.com, Parker shared that although she loves her glamorous day job, her most important role is mother to her three kids and wife to hubby Matthew Broderick. "I love just being with my family -- going to the grocery store, cooking dinner, putting my twins to bed, changing their diapers, getting my older son ready for school and packing his lunch. Staying home with my family and my husband is the thing I love most in the world. Is it sexy? I don't know about that, but it sure is fun and it's definitely unpredictable."

The star also swears that no matter how big her family gets,

  • Fashion Faceoff: Nicole vs. Ellen

Ladies and gents, we've got a gold-star battle on our hands! Proving that classics never go out of style, Nicole Richie and Ellen Pompeo both wore the same sequined Winter Kate "Nicole" mini to events one year apart in Las Vegas. Question is ... who wore it better?

Joel Madden's new bride Nicole Richie first donned the gown of her own design way back on December 31, 2009, for a New Year's Eve bash at TAO in Vegas to ring in 2010. The mom of two paired her long-sleeved frock with black opaque tights and YSL pumps. Blunt bangs and a loose, wavy 'do completed her look.

An entire year later, "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo chose the exact same gown to celebrate the opening of the Marquee nightclub at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas on December 30, 2010. Pompeo also chose to accessorize her frock with black tights and pumps, though she opted for an updo to accompany her heavy, blunt bangs.

Kimora Lee Simmons and baby Kenzo get down at Aoki's birthday fashion show in West Hollywood. - Matthew Simmons/WireImage.comSometimes it seems like life must be paradise 24/7 for a fashion mogul-mom such as Kimora Lee Simmons, and the fact that she called omg! long distance from sunny Bora Bora in French Polynesia, where she and her family -- partner Djimon Hounsou, and kids Ming Lee and Aoki Lee Simmons, and Kenzo Lee Hounsou -- are currently vacationing only reinforced our theory!

With her signature chuckle, Kimora is quick to point out that though her life may seem glamorous and fabulous on the outside, she's just as human as the rest of us when it comes to her top priorities in life -- family, fashion, and business. "Life can be crazy, hectic, and over the top," says Kimora, adding, "You can have Birkin bags coming out your ass, Rolls-Royces down the street, but at the end of the day, you have to go home, and you're not in that purse, you're not in that car, you're with your family, and that's the most important thing."
