The soon-to-be father rescued a couple from a Welsh mountaintop earlier this week.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, Wills, 30, a pilot with the United Kingdom’s RAF Search and Rescue Force, was called in after mountain rescue team members and trained dogs found the two people in their 40s and 50s stranded in Snowdonia in North Wales. (Yes, apparently Snowdonia is a real place, not a fictional locale from some supernatural young adult novel). Thankfully, his expertise allowed him to swoop in and save them from the dangerous terrain and frigid temperatures.

But, you know, the day after news hits that she’s just had a major breakup, some might expect a few frowns on the red carpet and a more muted style. Well, not so much.

Uggie – the scene-stealing Jack Russell Terrier from 2012’s Best Picture winner, “The Artist” – has been named the spokesdog for the Humane Society of the United States’ Pets of Valor Award, the agency announced Wednesday. The award pays tribute to the bond between humans and animals “by honoring rescued or adopted dogs and cats who have exhibited an extraordinary sense of courage or resolve by helping a person in need.”

You know, kind of like when Uggie saved his owner from the fire in “The Artist.”

The 18-year-old has gotten yet another tattoo, this time the third-to-last letter in the alphabet (or a tilted cross, depending on your point of view). Eagle eyes first spotted the new ink as the star was leaving a Cirque du Soleil show in London Monday night.

After seeing her hobble around during the Oscars – with crutches and without – we felt sorry for the actress. Of course, having Jennifer Lawrence help out on the red carpet and Daniel Radcliffe to lean on while presenting an award surely didn’t suck, it was still sad to see her looking so pitiful.

But, then again, it felt a bit like déjà vu. Haven’t we seen KStew limping before? And hasn’t she hurt her wrist or something?

Mortal man Michael Welch – better known as Mike Newton, the high school human who had a crush on Bella throughout “The Twilight Saga” – and his wife of more than four years, Marissa Lefton, filed for divorce on Valentine’s Day.

Welch, 25, and Lefton tied the knot in 2008 – the same year the first “Twilight” movie hit theaters – but separated at the end of 2011, according to TMZ.

Bronson Pelletier has been sentenced after pleading “no contest” in relation to his recent incident at LAX airport. The actor, who played wolf pack member Jared in the popular franchise, was caught on video in mid-December taking a leak out in the open in one of the terminals after being removed from the plane.
