  • Jon Bon Jovi, Chelsea Clinton, and Celebrity Chefs Make Time for Hunger

Jon Bon Jovi performs at the Can Do Awards (Getty Images)
How often do you hear about Jon Bon Jovi playing a pared down set for an audience that's only a fraction of the size of a stadium crowd?

Not that often, but the famed rocker made the time in honor of the Food Bank for New York City, which held its annual Can Do Awards dinner Tuesday night at Cipriani Wall Street. JBJ, who was honored with an award from the charity in 2009, took to the stage with a few select musicians -- no, Richie Sambora was not one of them -- and played sweet, chilled-out versions of "Who Says You Can't Go Home," "Livin' on a Prayer," and "Wanted Dead or Alive."

  • Tom Brokaw: Lindsay Lohan Ruined the White House Correspondents’ Dinner

    It's all Lindsay Lohan's fault.

Apparently, she ruined the White House Correspondents' Dinner for everyone. Or, at least, Tom Brokaw.

The annual star-studded event is set to take place this weekend in Washington, D.C., but the veteran TV newsman won't be there because of a certain guest who was in attendance at last year's gala.

"The breaking point for me was Lindsay Lohan," Brokaw told Politico during a recent interview. "She became a big star at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Give me a break."

This isn't the first we've heard of the "Nightly News" host's frustrations with the event. Just one week after the 2012 bash, he appeared on "Meet the Press" urging planners to "rethink" it, explaining that it "separates the press from the people that they're supposed to serve, symbolically."

"I think any organization … has to have a kind of self-policing instinct and what we're doing with that dinner, as it has been constituted for the past several years, is saying, 'We're Versailles. The

Modeling: It's a tough job, but someone (really pretty and absurdly skinny) has got to do it.

In light of former Victoria's Secret Angel Kylie Bisutti's recent complaint that she "felt like a piece of meat" while working as a model, we dug through some interview archives to bring you a few other examples of the difficulties these ladies face.

Of course, we knew you wouldn't just want to read quotes…

  • Jason Segel Jumping From Muppet Movie to Children’s Books

Jason Segel (Getty Images)We can't say whether or not Jason Segel is in touch with his feminine side, but he's certainly familiar with his inner child.

  • Ben Affleck Set to Live on $1.50 for a Day

Ben Affleck (Wireimage)When you're an Oscar winner and you're making millions of dollars for every movie, the idea of living on only $1.50 a day probably seems impossible. But that's not stopping Ben Affleck, who has signed up to take the Live Below the Line challenge next week.

That's right, for at least one full day, the big star will keep his food and drink costs below what many pay for just a 12-ounce can of soda. And it's all for a very good cause -- he'll be raising awareness and funds relating to extreme poverty for The Global Poverty Project, which, according to its website, aims to "increase the number and effectiveness of people taking action to see an end to extreme poverty." $1.50 is considered the accepted global figure to define the problem.

Affleck is joined by Sophia Bush, Josh Groban, Debi Mazar, and Hunter Biden in this attempt to better understand the kind of hunger and difficulty faced by more than 1.4 billion people worldwide.
