But there's a secret she's been keeping from her fashionista fans: When she's at home, "I just really love being in my pajamas," the "Hart of Dixie" star tells Lucky in its April cover story. "My mother just got me a pair of Miss Piggy pajamas, and I love them." Sure, we will probably never catch Bilson even walking her dog in those PJs, but the actress does admit she goes for comfort over style when she selects what to wear. "I like to be comfortable, and don't like to be cold, and I don't like to wear anything I'm not in the mood for."

Another style we'll never see Bilson in: something too revealing. Although she has played characters who like to show a little skin — like"Dixie's" Zoe Hart, who Bilson says, "wears shorts, a lot" — the actress prefers to be modest, and let her clothes do the talking. "I guess I'm not too crazy about slutty dresses," Bilson, who has her own shoe line called ShoeMint, tells the mag. "You try something on, and if you feel like a slut, you probably look like one." Another trend Bilson is not a fan of? High-waisted skinny jeans! Instead, she opts for neutral colors "with a pop of color" and the right accessories. "You wear a plain T-shirt and jeans and then do something really cool with the jeans or the amazing shoes, or a really cool scarf or belt or bag," she recommends.

But as perfect as she always appears, Bilson has had her share of fashion faux pas — although no one really noticed. When the Lucky writer shows her a photo of one of her recent red carpet looks, a sleek black dress paired with gold bangles, the former "O.C." star reveals, "I was PMSing that day, and I just freaked out and wore [it] backward." She can't always please her boyfriend either. Although Bilson, whose favorite pair of shoes are her Chanel boots, says very little about her on-off, back-on again beau, actor Hayden Christensen, she does reveal she loves his style, but he really hates it when she wears harem pants.

At the end of the interview with Lucky, Bilson headed back to her place to de-clutter her closet with a pal — and of course, slip into something more casual. "I can't wait to get home," she proclaimed, "and get into my Miss Piggy pajamas!"
