Braison Cyrus
For once, the Cyrus making headlines today isn't Miley, her dad Billy Ray, or even her rocker older brother Trace. It's her 18-year-old brother, Braison, who's just signed a modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models. The agency released photos of Braison's work to stir up interest in him before his official debut in Troix magazine in January. He's pretty hot, right?

Braison's future certainly looks bright now, but as E! reports, that wasn't true just four months ago, when he almost died after having his tonsils removed. Nine days after the surgery, an artery began bleeding and he almost choked on his own blood as he was rushed to the hospital. His mother Tish Cyrus explained to E! that it was a scary situation. "There is no way he could have kept losing that amount of blood and survived," Tish said. "We are lucky we were a few miles from the hospital and I could get him there. If we were in Nashville it would have taken us 25 minutes to get there and it could have been the difference between life and death."

Braison and Miley are two of three children born to Miley's parents, Billy Ray and Tish. They also have a 12-year-old daughter Noah, who appeared with Braison in background roles on Miley's former Disney show, "Hannah Montana." (Noah already has her own website, so expect to hear more from her soon!) Miley's older siblings, 23-year-old Trace and 25-year-old Brandi, are the offspring of Tish and her former husband, and were adopted by Billy Ray when they were kids.
