It's official: America has four more years ... of Michelle Obama's dazzling fashion choices. So what did she wear last night when she and her daughters accompanied President Barack Obama on stage for his victory speech? Something we've actually seen before.
For the big night, the First Lady recycled a dress that she's worn publicly on two different occasions. The metallic burgundy patterned Michael Kors knee-length dress was something Michelle first wore to a White House party in December 2009 and then again for the Medal of Honor presentation ceremony in November 2010. Last night she polished off the look with a cropped black sweater and heels.
While it's not exactly breaking news that Michelle recycled a dress — she's done it before — this is the first time she has done so on such a public stage. She knew a lot of eyes were going to be on her last night, so she was certainly making a statement. Between the FLOTUS and her fellow fashion icon Kate Middleton, who frequently re-wears outfits and accessories (her beige L.K. Bennett pumps!), we certainly seem to be getting schooled on how to rework styles and still look great.
Eyes were certainly on Michelle last night, but first daughters Sasha, 11 and Malia, 14, also grabbed their share of the spotlight. The poised young women, who have grown up so much during their father's presidency, opted for bright colored skirts (green and royal blue) with fun flairs for the big night. Malia, who accessorized with a pink belt, also appeared to be nearly as tall as her mother.

During the president's victory speech, he gushed about the three women in his life. "Let me say this publicly: Michelle, I have never loved you more," he said. "I have never been prouder to watch the rest of America fall in love with you, too, as our nation's first lady. Sasha and Malia, before our very eyes you're growing up to become two strong, smart beautiful young women, just like your mom. And I'm so proud of you guys."
