Two pop stars as famous for their fashions as they are for their music, Jennifer Lopez and Melanie Brown (aka The Spice Girls' Mel B), recently dared to rock the same frock! Both ladies chose a charcoal, snakeskin-textured sheath from Lanvin's spring line. Now J.Lo's had the most musical success lately, but do you think she can pull off a win in the fashion department? It's up to us to decide just who wore it best?!

Lopez, 42, donned the dress (and a top knot) first on "American Idol" in April. The singer/actress/style icon accessorized with Celine jewelry and spiked Christian Louboutin heels. Too bad it'll end up being one of her last "Idol" looks — Lopez announced this month that she won't be returning to the reality competition show. But while fans won't get their weekly dose of "Jenny From the Block" in the fall, perhaps they can catch her concert tour with Enrique Iglesias (and boyfriend/concert choregrapher Casper Smart) this summer.

Brown, 37, wore the frock while promoting "Viva Forever," the upcoming musical about the life and times of the Spice Girls, in London last month. More than 15 years after the group released its first single, "Wannabe," Brown reunited with "Sporty" Melanie Chisholm (pictured), "Posh" Victoria Beckham, "Ginger" Geri Halliwell, and "Baby" Emma Bunton. (Spice Girls fans should note that it's rumored the girl group might get together again for a performance at the upcoming Summer Olympics in London!) In addition to a big smile, Brown sported Christian Louboutin heels. As always, her arm tattoo of a phoenix rising — a tribute to her 13-year-old daughter Phoenix — was on display.

Wow, what a gorgeous garment! Both ladies chose a tres chic dress, and wisely opted to wear their hair up. However, if you don't mind me saying so, Mel B's ensemble lacks a little ... spice? Meanwhile, Lopez's jewelry and 'do really add some pizazz to her look. I say J.Lo wins this style showdown! Do you agree?
