My personal fave, and number one on the list, is "House's" Olivia Wilde. This fresh face is gorgeous and always stylish on the red carpet.

Fortunately, "The Thread" has proclaimed that these rules are no longer in effect, even for fashionistas in chillier climates like NYC -- "The Thread's" home turf.

One of my favorite fashion daredevils, "Ugly Betty's" gorgeous Becki Newton, was photographed breaking the ridiculous rule that black and brown don't mix. In my opinion, Newton looks fab in this brown strapless dress and big black belt. And if she's bold enough to wear this to New York Fashion Week, I think the rest of us can give it a try!
