The 29-year-old rapper is as well-known for her Barbie-inspired costumes and cartoonish makeup as she is for her seven Top 20 songs -- and it's all a part of her act. Growing up in Queens, New York, the Trinidadian-born Minaj (born Onika Maraj) didn't have much money or style -- "I was dressing in Tommy Hilfiger baggy shirts and Boss jeans" -- but she did have big aspirations. After getting a makeover from a woman who she viewed as "larger than life" because she wore heels and "lots of makeup," Minaj made the transition from tomboy to the blueprint for what she is today. "I had never seen myself made up before," the "Super Bass" rapper tells Vogue in its March issue — in which she's painted blue and wearing a cotton candy-esque wig. "I didn't want to wash it off; I felt like I had one day to live this fantasy of being a glamour girl."

Just weeks after she announced her engagement, Elizabeth Smart exchanged vows with her beau of one year, Matthew Gilmour, on the picturesque North Shore of Hawaii's Oahu on Saturday. Surrounded by a small number of close friends and family members, the 24-year-old blushing bride gushed about Gilmour, 22, at the luau following their intimate ceremony. "Matthew, I love you so much," said Smart, People reports in its new issue. "I couldn't be happier. I am so grateful that everyone is here to be with and support us on this beautiful day. I love you so much."

Her newest venture is the shapewear line Skweeze Couture, which she was busy promoting at Macys in NYC on Tuesday. Zarin, 48, told the crowd that the department store "is giving me the chance of a lifetime," before instructing her fans to "shop 'till you drop." She even got down on the store floor and helped some pick out the right style of shapewear to best suit their body type and their outfit. "I'm happy to help everyone here until the lights go out in the store," Zarin announced. "Beauty begins with a great foundation. And hopefully I'll make all your dreams come true, as well."
