    • Ready, Set, ‘Zoe’!

Rachel Zoe celebrates the launch of her new reality show with Kate Hudson, one of her celebrity clients. - Donald Bowers/GettyImages.comAlmost overnight, fashionista Rachel Zoe inspired a generation of young girls to wear oversized Jackie O sunglasses and boho chic frocks after dressing such Hollywood starlets as Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, and Mischa Barton. At the time, Rachel's clients were dubbed 'Zoe-bots' and rumors swirled that she made them slim down to a size 0. In Bravo's "The Rachel Zoe Project" the stylist steps in front of the camera to star in her very own reality series, where viewers can take a peek inside the crazy life of Rachel, her husband, and her team as they go about shopping for her celebrity clientele and shaping the fashion trends of tomorrow by making and breaking designer brands.

Even though Rachel has consistently denied accusations that she motivates the actresses she styles to lose weight, people are still not convinced. Rachel hopes to change that with this show by giving us an inside look at her hectic life and expanding her Rachel Zoe brand at the same time.

    • Jessica Simpson Puts up Her Daisy Dukes

Jessica Simpson dares to wear a pair of Daisy Dukes to Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills. - Josephine Santos/PacificCoastNews.comJessica Simpson was snapped exiting Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills last night toting a big red Gucci "Babouska" handbag. Sorry Jess. Even though it's Gucci, that bag is u-g-l-y and you ain't got no alibi! There's just too much metal going on and what's the purpose of the big tassel on the side? I think I'd just get that stuck in a car door and wind up driving around town with it blowing in the breeze.

On a positive note, Jess' hair and toned-down makeup are gorgeous. Maybe her stylist and BFF Ken Paves (pictured) just freshened her up, but whatever product Jessica is using, I want it!

I'm a little iffy about that flower-patterned faux-Asian-curtains-circa-1977 red shirt, but I think she manages to pull it off. And it's smart to pair a big billowy blouse with something slim-fitted on the bottom, but seriously girl, you're out to dinner at an expensive restaurant, leave the Daisy Dukes at home. You've got great legs, so go ahead and show them off, but when your shorts have frayed edges and

    • Who Looked Hottest in Hot Pink?

We've been hearing that plaid, purple, and platforms are all big for fall, but another trend that seems to have taken over the red carpet is one-shoulder hot pink gowns with cascading details.

Three different hotties have been snapped wearing the style recently and they all looked pretty fab. I guess the fashion rule that everyone looks good in pink really is true!

"Heroes" star Ali Larter glammed up a New York event in a gorgeous Ungaro gown that fell on the fuchsia side of hot pink. The fabric and draping make the dress look positively luxe and it doesn't hurt that Ali is tall and gorgeous. So how can dancer/country singer Julianne Hough compete in her hot pink Angel Sanchez dress that looks like the cheapy prom version of Ali's? Adding bling in the form of Ralph Lauren earrings and a Daniel Swarovski bracelet and clutch certainly helps, as does the dramatic ruffle around her shoulder and down her back.

Meanwhile, Ali Landry took the look in a different direction. While the

As Becki Newton (who plays Amanda) points out, "We're in New York City filming a show about New York City with Pat Field as our costume designer. It couldn't be better." Created by French husband and wife design team Joseph & Laurence Agi, these must-have trousers feature a unique softness thanks to the use of a new spandex, TB8A. This sophisticated fabric not only delivers a great fit; it also allows the denim to maintain its shape after repeated washing, unlike every other stretch jean on the market. As a result, the SoCal-based dynamic duo has numerous celebrities, from "Confessions of a Shopaholic" star Isla Fisher to "Heroes" hottie Hayden Panettiere, sporting their jeans. The company's motto? Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) got all dolled up for Naomi's birthday bash. - Michael Desmond/The CWThe highly-anticipated revival of "90210" premiered the other night. The big question on my mind was will the "90210" kids of California be as stylish as the New York City teens on "Gossip Girl"? After one episode it might be too soon to tell, but "The Thread" did pick up on one hot trend spotted on the show: layered necklaces.

Silver (played by Jessica Stroup) made a dramatic statement with the jewelry she wore to Naomi's 16th birthday bash. The two necklaces were from T. Cyia and together retail for around $640 dollars. Of course, you can get a similar look for much less. Check out "The Thread" below and find out how:

    • Jessica Simpson Gets ‘Fancy’

Country girl Jessica Simpson gets 'Fancy.' - Kevin Mazur/WireImage.comPop -- correction -- country singer, actress, fashion designer. Jessica Simpson can now add one more occupation to her resume: perfumer.

The 28-year-old donned a gorgeous chocolate dress for the debut her new fragrance Fancy at a Dillard's store in her native Texas. With ingredients like pear, apricot nectar, toasted almonds, and caramel, the scent is sweet but not cloying.

This isn't the Jessica's first foray into the world of beauty. She launched an "edible" cosmetics line in 2004, and has been a spokesperson for Proactiv since 2005.

Personally, I think creating her own fragrance was a smart move for Jess. Celebrity perfumes are cash cows. According to Forbes.com, sales of Jennifer Lopez's Glow and Live Luxe fragrances totaled $77 million in 2006! Even Elizabeth Taylor, the venerable queen of star scents, had $60 million worth of sales for White Diamonds the same year.

    • Which TV Queen Looked Hotter?

What do Lauren Conrad and Shannen Doherty have in common? Well, they've both portrayed LA-dwelling rich girls whose BFF chose a guy over their friendship, and they both wore the same Richard Ruiz dress on the same day in September! Fashion faux pas ... almost. Thankfully Shannen was in NYC hosting the Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion show while LC was in Hollywood attending a Nylon magazine party.

Both ladies opted to pair their silk sheath with gold strappy sandals, but Shannen chose a sultry red version while LC donned a belted black one. I think both women look great, but I have to give it to Shannen for going bold in red.
