    • Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s New Gig

Elisabeth Hasselbeck brings her cute working mom style to QVC. - Jemal Countess/WireimageEven though I'm a huge fan of discount shopping, I am not a regular QVC viewer. In fact, I don't believe I've ever watched it, except perhaps as part of an "Apprentice" challenge every once in a while. But in these tough economic times, which I tend to mention more than I care to in this blog, QVC sure seems like a nice place to save a few bucks.

Following in the footsteps of Joan Rivers and a few former "Project Runway" contestants, another celebrity has partnered with the home-shopping behemoth to launch a collection of budget-minded fashions. This time said celebrity is "The View's" lone conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Unlike many star designers, Hasselbeck actually has a background that kind of qualifies her for this new role. If you remember the petite blonde from her "Survivor" days, you may recall that she was identified as a shoe designer, and according to a QVC video she even designed a pair of softball cleats during a college internship. Hasselbeck then parlayed her

    • In the latest issue of Fashion Rocks, Justin Timberlake talks about his personal style, William Rast (the fashion line that he started up with his best friend, Trace Ayala), and trucker hats. Personally, I loathe the trucker hat look. Unless you're riding a tractor or sitting behind the wheel of a big rig, you have no business wearing one. That's why I was so confused when everyone began sporting the mesh caps back in 2002 -- and even more confused by the fact that Justin wants to stake claim to starting the terrible trend. Or did he?

Yo! Justin Timberlake does not rock in this cap. - Dave Benett/GettyImages.comDid Ashton Kutcher inspire you to buy a trucker hat? - Steve Granitz/WireImage.com

"It's funny, I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps," says Justin. "I've heard him make that statement before. Trace and I were wearing them when we were 17."

That is funny. Surely Mr. SexyBack must be joking. Then again, maybe he's still bitter over the classic "Punk'd" episode where Ashton tricked him into thinking that the IRS was confiscating his mansion and all of his belongings for back taxes. Regardless, I

    • Victoria Beckham’s ‘Posh’ New Bag

Victoria Beckham makes her way through LAX toting a Loewes Calle ostrich bag worth almost 10 grand! - Breeden, Butterworth/PacificCoastNews.comVictoria Beckham is always fashionable -- even on a transatlantic flight! The Spice Girl was photographed making her way through LAX upon returning from Milan in a chic all-black ensemble consisting of a satin shift that she wore over a pair of leggings. Victoria completed her look with a gigantic pair of dVb sunglasses and, of course, a fabulous new handbag.

While her Loewes Calle ostrich bag is pretty hot, it retails for a whopping $9,700, which, in my opinion, is absurd. 10 grand on a handbag? Really? I know that $10,000 is a drop in the bucket for the Beckhams, but I don't think my conscience would allow me to carry a purse that pricey. Would yours?

    • Shirley MacLaine Slips Into ‘Chanel’ for Lifetime

Shirley MacLaine portrays fashion icon Coco Chanel in Lifetime's new original movie. - Lifetime TelevisionAs the fashion world holds its breath in anticipation for the release of the French movie "Coco avant Chanel" starring Audrey Tatou as the titular character, for now we'll have to settle for Lifetime's original telefilm "Coco Chanel" starring Shirley McLaine as Coco in 1954. "Coco Chanel" premieres Saturday, September 13 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime Television.

I already have my DVR set to record the movie, but until then I've been spending time on myLifetime.com reading up on Chanel facts, and checking out Chanel runway show images and red carpet photos of Hollywood's leading ladies wearing Chanel. • Fashion Faceoff: Rachel Weisz vs. Drew Barrymore

Are you ready for another designer dress duel? This time, Oscar winner Rachel Weisz ("The Constant Gardener") does battle with the super stylish Drew Barrymore. First up, the dark-haired darling. Rachel rocked the red carpet back in December 2008 at the 18th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards while wearing the black-and-white striped Narciso Rodriguez asymmetrical dress. She paired the fab frock with ruby-red lipstick and classic black pumps. Her hair also happened to be straightened for the soiree.

Miss Drew, on the other hand, recently strutted through the streets of NYC in a similar ensemble while on her way to a taping of "Live With Regis & Kelly." The "Grey Gardens" star also sported bright lips, but opted for $550 Miu Miu "Whipstitch" slingbacks and a braided updo.

This is a tough one! I prefer Drew's footwear and I love that she went with a daring 'do, but I also think Rachel looked flawless. It's nearly a draw, but I'll go with Drew simply because she matched her lips with

    • Celebrity Trail ‘Blazers’

Blake Lively rocks a $4,598 striped Ralph Lauren blazer on "Gossip Girl." - Soul Brother/FilmMagic.comI love blazers -- especially for fall -- and often find myself drawn to velvet jackets in rich, jeweled tones. Unfortunately, thanks to my broad shoulders blazers just don't look that great on me, but I digress...

Inspired by the blazer that Kirsten Dunst wears in the new film "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" (which opens October 3), "The Thread" decided to showcase the basic wardrobe piece that can easily be dressed up or down.

"The Thread" also does their first celebrity profile on gorgeous "Ugly Betty" star Vanessa Williams. Watch the video below to find out some of her beauty secrets:

    • Britney’s Gotta Brand New Bag!

Britney Spears rocks her new Goldenbleu "Delilah" handbag. - MBF/X17online.comJust hours before appearing onstage with Madonna in LA last Thursday night, Britney Spears was spotted at her orthopedist's office in Beverly Hills. As usual, the paparazzi were waiting for the pop tart, but all she had to shield herself from the photogs was a new handbag.

Of course, Brit's red diamond leather "Delilah" bag didn't cost her a dime. She received it as part of Backstage Creation's Autumn "It" Girl Collection, which honored hot female celebs such as Lauren Conrad, Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift, and more.

Unfortunately, if you're looking to emulate Spears' style, the bag will cost you a cool $695. That's a little pricey for moi, but you can find it at goldenbleu.com, or get it on sale right now at shopbop.com for $486.50.

    • Cameron Diaz’s Drive Through the Desert

Cameron Diaz reveals how she lives on the bright side of life in Vogue's June issue. - Mario Testino/VogueCameron Diaz is the ultimate California girl. She always seems so happy and sunny that it's hard to imagine her ever having a dark day. In Vogue's June issue, the actress' effervescent personality comes through loud and clear as she takes a road trip through the desert with Vogue's Robert Sullivan. Diaz discusses everything from aging in Hollywood to her father's unexpected death at the age of 58, which occurred while she was filming her new movie, "My Sister's Keeper."

"I think, emotionally ... it definitely took its toll," Cameron says of her dad's passing. "It's the human experience. You know, that's what the heart does. Things are given to us, and things are taken away. And I think the heart becomes stronger, more capable."

Check Out More Photos of Cameron

One person who currently has a big piece of Cameron's heart is her model boyfriend, Paul Sculfor. While the British tabloids have reported that the couple is shopping for a country house in England, Diaz keeps mum about their

    • Mischa Barton vs. Elizabeth Banks

Just when you thought separates were about to become the next big thing, along comes this fall's must-have: the two-in-one dress. A high-waisted skirt paired with a blouse? Nope. It's one piece, and it can even be comprised of two very different textures and colors. It's all the rage and has been spotted on the likes of Kelly Osbourne, Lindsay Lohan, and Lauren Conrad. If you're looking to display a classic hourglass shape, this frock hits the spot!

Last week, the lovely Elizabeth Banks wore a light gray/dark gray Mulberry two-in-one to the "Milk" premiere in Los Angeles. The breakout star of the year was stunning as expected. Her matching heels were the perfect accessory. The dress, however, immediately reminded me of the pink and scarlet combo Mischa Barton sported to the "Keep a Child Alive" benefit this past July in London. I must say that the former "O.C." star looked better than usual in the interesting ensemble. Unfortunately, her clunky black peep-toes failed to impress.

    • TV’s Most Iconic Fashionistas

Thanks to her MTV reality show, "The Hills," Lauren Conrad has become a fashion icon. - Jason Merritt/Getty ImagesWe've always wished we could sneak into the closets of our favorite small-screen actresses with impeccable fashion sense. And while most of us couldn't pull off Cher's revealing Bob Mackie classics, we could dare to wear a groovy jumpsuit, risk a thigh-baring micro-mini, or get our hair cut just so.

These days there is no shortage of fashion-forward women on TV. Here are our favorites of the last five decades -- from iconic characters like Emma Peel to real-life fashionista Lauren Conrad -- who've inspired us to look our best.

      The Girls on "Gossip Girl"
"Gossip Girl" fashion isn't all about the designer labels (although it's A LOT about the designer labels). The show takes the image of the naughty schoolgirl to a whole new level. If we'd hemmed our St. Francis of Assisi uniforms as high as Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) does, the nuns would have sent us home with a note to our mothers.
