    • High-Waisted Pants Aren’t Going Anywhere!

Audrina Patridge successfully pulls off a pair of high-waisted pants. - LAX/X17online.comBy no means is Audrina Patridge a tremendously stylish star. Sure, the "Hills" hottie sports cute outfits from time to time, but she isn't exactly known for being fashion-forward. However, that hasn't stopped her from sampling every season's trends, including last summer's mainstay: high-waisted pants. Well, it looks like that craze is here to stay because the brunette beauty was recently spotted in a cute pair of high-waisted jeans, which she paired with a sexy silk blouse and strappy sandals. When I first saw Fergie rocking the tight trousers months ago, I wasn't impressed. Perhaps the garment is better suited for fall and winter. Perhaps the pants are just better suited on Audrina. Whatever the case may be, I'm starting to like the look. Do you?

    • Fergie: In Her Shoes

"The top hat by Kiki de Montparnasse is from my honeymoon!" reveals Fergie in a Paul & Joe dress. As for her snake-embossed leather Fergie sandals: "The zippers elongate the leg. Every girl can appreciate that!" - Douglas Friedman/InStyleThis month Fergie debuts not just one but two collections of shoes. The first, simply called Fergie, sells at Nordstrom and features gladiator sandals and cork platforms. Its flashier sister line, Fergalicious, can be found at JCPenney and should please younger fans. • Fashion Faceoff: Vanessa vs. Phoebe

It's time for yet another fashion faceoff. In this installment, "High School Musical" hottie Vanessa Hudgens does battle with "What Were They Thinking?!" mainstay Phoebe Price.

Last week, Zac Efron's better half popped a pose in a multi-colored Rebecca Taylor silk mini at the LA premiere of "Watchmen." The tween queen's jumper featured dolman sleeves, an elastic waist, a button-up front, and lace detailing at the neckline. She accessorized with lilac peep toes, gold bangles, dangling earrings, and a gorgeous cocktail ring. Smoky eye shadow and pink lip gloss completed her look.

Meanwhile, the wannabe actress/Z-lister took time out of her painfully free schedule to parade around Beverly Hills in the same $345 dress. Phoebe's accents included metallic strappy sandals, a gigantic rose ring, and one of her infamous bedazzled chapeaus. Pasty white skin and over-processed red locks completed her look.

For the first time in a long time, the decision was definite. The winner? Vanessa Hudgens.

    • Dressing Under Pressure

Jennifer Hudson rocked a $3,420 Alexander McQueen military-style jacket, skin-tight black pants, and gladiator wedges to perform at the Super Bowl. - Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic.comThink about how much you hem and haw over what to wear when you're going to attend a formal event like a wedding. Then imagine being a celeb like Kate Winslet, knowing that everyone is going to scrutinize your gown and hair as you walk the red carpet at the Oscars. Or, try having to pick out the perfect outfit to perform in at the Super Bowl like Jennifer Hudson did back in January. I'd be totally stressed if I knew that I was going to be singing for 95.4 million TV viewers -- and be freaked out over the fact that the fashion police could slap me with a citation at any minute!

Check out this episode of "The Thread," which takes a look at five fabulous ladies who continuously dress to impress while millions of eyes are on them:

    • Hollywood’s Hot for Hippie Headbands

Headbands have been around forever, but really started soaring again in popularity this past spring. And lately, everyone in Hollywood seems to be sporting the hair accessory. Heck, Mischa Barton has even created her own overpriced line of designer headbands!

While I won't be purchasing any of the former "O.C." star's fancy headgear, I do like to mix up my look with a headband every now and then. Of course, I usually wear one to keep the hair away from my face, whereas many stars have been going for that hippie/flower child look.

    • Britney’s ‘Circus’ Comes to Town

I first heard of Dsquared when cycle two of "America's Next Top Model" set the final challenge between Yoanna and Mercedes at a Dsquared fashion show in Milan. Now, Britney Spears has tapped the identical twin brothers from Canada to design the costumes for her "Circus" tour.

What can we expect from the designing duo known for their sexy street style? As Dsquared's Dean and Dan Caten state on their official website, "We are enormous fans of Britney, and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to collaborate with her. We wanted to create something ... provoking and indecent ... something animalistic and primal."

Spears debuted the wardrobe Tuesday night in New Orleans, where she kicked of her concert tour. While some looks were straight-up sexy, others definitely walked the line of "indecent," just as Dsquared promised. Check out Brit's concert costumes, then let me know what you think:

Not unfamiliar with the long arm of the law, Brit dons a police uniform and spreads around some fashion justice. - Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com

      Uh, full-body tattoo suit? That's a don't. Was Brit's dad okay with this getup? - Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com

Finally a bright, happy, fun look to go along with a Bollywood-inspired "Me Against the Music" remix. Love it! - Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com

Yay! This look is classic Britney. Well, Britney inspired by Madonna, but you know what they say: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." - Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com

Another lingerie outfit. Kind of a snooze, but pink feathers can make anything fun. - Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com

I can't help but think a lot of these outfits are inspired by the 20 plus years of Madonna concert fashion. Oh well, this military jacket looks great on Brit. A strong look for the pop star hoping to make this comeback stick! - Kevin Mazur/WireImage.com

    • Katie Holmes: Mom, Actress, Designer?

Katie Holmes models her own design on the "Tropic Thunder" red carpet. - Michael Buckner/GettyImages.comThe blogoshpere is en fuego this week with buzz that the ensemble Katie Holmes wore to the "Tropic Thunder" premiere was HER design! Well, it wasn't totally her design. Part of the credit, I read, goes to Katie's stylist Jeanne Yang. Either way, the frock shows some serious promise. The color choice was inspired and it's obvious Mrs. Cruise knows how to dress her bod. (Crazy-hot shoulders and long neck, anyone?)

If the reports are to be believed, the dynamic design duo will be coming out with a private "Holmes Yang" label for friends and family only. Of course, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Katie is also rumored to be designing a public label (as in, we can buy it in stores) for fashion friend Giorgio Armani.

I reached out to the Holmes, Yang, and Armani camps to try and figure this out, and it looks like the world wide web of fashion may have gotten this one right. I just heard back from Katie's rep via email and she's calling the outfit "a collaboration between Katie

    • Bai Ling Catches Olympic Fever

Bai Ling models a top she designed in honor of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. - Josephine Santos/PacificCoastNews.comBai Ling has a reputation in Hollywood for being somewhat of a fashion disaster. Say what you will about the eccentric actress' outfits, but she always knows how to get noticed!

Last night was no exception. Bai Ling was spotted leaving Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills wearing a top that she personally designed in honor of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, apparently as an ode to her home country of China. The shirt (and I use that term loosely), adorned with what looks to be like elastic ponytail holders and artwork that I might have made in 5th grade, is a little too revealing for my taste, but somehow it works on Bai Ling.
