  Jessica Simpson dares to wear a pair of Daisy Dukes to Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills. Josephine Santos/PacificCoastNews.com Jessica Simpson was snapped exiting Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills last night toting a big red Gucci "Babouska" handbag. Sorry Jess. Even though it's Gucci, that bag is u-g-l-y and you ain't got no alibi! There's just too much metal going on and what's the purpose of the big tassel on the side? I think I'd just get that stuck in a car door and wind up driving around town with it blowing in the breeze.
  
  On a positive note, Jess' hair and toned-down makeup are gorgeous. Maybe her stylist and BFF Ken Paves (pictured) just freshened her up, but whatever product Jessica is using, I want it!
  
  I'm a little iffy about that flower-patterned faux-Asian-curtains-circa-1977 red shirt, but I think she manages to pull it off. And it's smart to pair a big billowy blouse with something slim-fitted on the bottom, but seriously girl, you're out to dinner at an expensive restaurant, leave the Daisy Dukes at home. You've got great legs, so go ahead and show them off, but when your shorts have frayed edges and the pockets dip below the hem, you might be a tad underdressed.
