It was date night for the stars at the CMT Awards in Nashville on Wednesday! Our favorite celebrity duos stepped out to the event, all looking amazing and definitely did not disappoint.
Kristen Bell, who co-hosted the show, and Dax Shepard made their first red carpet appearance together since welcoming daughter Lincoln back in March. Country crooning hottie Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman seemed just as ready for their couple close-up as ever, happily smiling for the cameras and looking very much in love. Another dynamic duo we couldn't take our eyes off of was Carrie Underwood and her handsome hockey playing hubby Mike Fisher ― not to mention Carrie's gorgeous gams in those tiny teal shorts with sheer, sparkly detailing. Wowza!
But, noticeably missing from the event was the first couple of country music ― Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. He had to be in Los Angeles to fulfill his duties on "The Voice," but did send a sweet tweet to his wife before the show, writing "Hey @MirandaLambert good luck tonight at the awards baby!!!!" Thankfully, we were able to see one-half of ‘Blaranda’ because Miranda not only performed, but also took home two awards for Female Video of the Year for “Mama’s Broken Heart” and CMT Performance of the Year with “Over You.”
Check out this vid to see the beautiful couples, and be sure to tune in to "omg! Insider" on television tonight to see more coverage from the CMT Awards.
