  • It's safe to say Cindy Crawford never had those awkward teenage years! The 47-year-old tweeted a pic of her very first modeling gig as a fresh-faced 16-year-old beauty in DeKalb, Illinois, on Thursday, writing "My very first 'cover' during high school in DeKalb, shot in my high school boyfriend's backyard..."

The snapshot was taken for the cover of the DeKalb Nite Weekly Communiversity Issue on November 3, 1982. Little did young Cindy in a teeny bikini know that it was the start to something really amazing. Even at that age, she knew exactly how to pose!

Somehow we're not surprised that Crawford became a world-famous supermodel ... even though it seems like she is shocked about her fame following this photo. In a follow-up tweet, she said, "Believe me when I say I had absolutely no idea where that photo would lead to!"

While the picture is stunning, the newspaper really wasn't joking when they wrote the caption, "Save this Article" at the top of the issue -- who knew that would become such a good idea so many years later?

Check out this video to see where Cindy's modeling roots all began, and be sure to tune in to "omg! Insider" on TV tonight for all the latest in entertainment.

  • Hayden Panettiere has been a working actress since she was just 6 years old, winning our hearts with her roles in "Guiding Light" and "Remember the Titans." But while other former child stars, like Amanda Bynes and Lindsay Lohan, have become Hollywood's most notorious bad girls, Hayden has kept her life on the straight and narrow. Now the 23-year-old is opening up about growing up in show business and shares how she avoided the same ill fate.

During an interview on BBC's "Breakfast" on Thursday morning, Hayden said, "I'm no better than anybody else, and those same doors were opened to me, and they're very easy to walk through ... drugs, alcohol, you know, being in inappropriate places that you shouldn't be at a certain age. And it's a very tough position to be in, but I had great people to pull me back from it."

Hayden added that perhaps the most difficult aspect of achieving fame at such a young age was that people were watching her, waiting for her to make a mistake. She said, "Being a young female growing up in this industry is really tough. And I grew up in the generation of the wild child ... I was guilty by association. So everyone sits there, and they wait for you to fall off your horse."

And the pint-size starlet credited her family and friends for helping her to stay on track, saying, "As long as you have people who are willing to tell you the truth and who are not afraid to tell you the truth, and who are there to yank you back when you need it and give you a reality check, it makes a world of difference."

Check out the vid to hear Hayden's take on avoiding the pitfalls of young fame.

  • The home Newton purchased in 1968. (AP Images)

The curtain is closing on the Las Vegas estate Wayne Newton has called home for the last 45 years.

After years of complicated litigation between the legendary performer and a business partner who also owned the home — which involved everything from bankruptcy reorganization to fraud allegations to conspiracy claims — Newton, 71, has reached an undisclosed settlement with the partner, no longer has an ownership in the estate, and, along with his wife, Kathleen, and their young daughter, has moved out.

Newton and the other party initially entered into the partnership together a few years back with the intention of turning the 40-acre estate, dubbed Casa da Shenandoah, into a tourist attraction with plans for Newton to remain on the property. The opulent gated home includes an airplane hangar, boarding area, equestrian facilities including stables, and a lake, and has been home to dozens of wild and domesticated animals. It remains unclear if the home will actually be turned into the planned attraction.

  • Looks like it was a pretty tight fit for Jerry Seinfeld! The funnyman tried to squeeze himself into an itty-bitty BMW during a photo shoot in New York City on Wednesday.

Aside from having his picture taken, why he chose to hop into the ridiculously small two-seater is a bit of a mystery. But we're thinking that it has something to do with his hysterical Web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," in which he and other comedians drive around in supercool cars and get coffee.

The theme of his show doesn't really come as a surprise, considering that Seinfeld's Porsche collection is rumored to be one of the biggest in the world. Let's hope he puts some of his hidden gems to good use during the show's second season, which premieres on June 13 and will showcase hysterical comedians like David Letterman, Seth Meyers, and Chris Rock.

Check out this vid to see some of the hilarious pics of Seinfeld in the pint-size ride!
