Barbara Walters Gets a Star

Has she even apologized for the affair? That (I think) is the true test. People deserve forgiveness but I haven't heard anything about her asking for it. She seems proud of the fact that she had a long affair with a married man.

She doesn't deserve it. She is a fraud.... she has done nothing but lie and "try" to make herself look classy and well educated, when in fact she was having an affair with a married man. I kind of agree w/ you all- why tell?? But, at the same time, i still think it is a good thing fur us to know- that as perfect as Barbara has always seemed to be, even she has made mistakes. It's kind of nice to know she's human too...not sure if i'll read the book or not- i feel like i've heard about most of it already on TV.

she is sooo low down, kept the affair for herself, but since it could be juicy for a book, she had to let it out...won't be surprised that she f''cked her way to the top...

what is wrong with this country men and women are looked up to by sinning bragging about it and then encouraging others to do the same, oprah and barb can brag about never being any one's mistress because they pay their own way but never regret the sin they commited and didn't care about the hurt they might have caused others, oprah was ok with it she has lived with a man unmarried

I feel that BW business is her business, why tell the world what you do? There shouldn't be in judging, allow God to take care of his business because he is the only one that can handle this. I feel BW shouldn't expose herself to society like this.

Barbara Walters was one of the last people who young women could look to for inspiration and admiration. A strong woman with values.................so we all thought. A woman who we respected as the very essence of woman hood. She was smart, very attractive and moved in the best of circles because she represented all that was good in a world gone mad. Now the bubble has burst.

Man people, you act like the women isn't a human being. So they had an affair in the 70's and that sucks yeah. But hell, it doesn't forever define a person. Grow up. This woman is a powerhouse- everyone f's up once or twice real good in their life.

Wonder how many she Fu__ed on her way to the top?
