AskMen.com Announces List Of Top 99 Most Desirable Women; Access' Own Maria Menounos Honored

The biggest online men's magazine, AskMen.com, announced its 8th annual list of "99 Most Desirable Women."

The women were selected by more than 5 million votes cast on the web site. The list is not an inventory of "hottest" or "sexiest" women, but a list of women who " possess character, intelligence, humor, and yes, beauty," the editors of the Web site say.

"Grey's Anatomy" and "27 Dresses" star Katherine Heigl was selected as the most desirable woman of the year.

Access' very own Maria Menounos came in at the impressive #11 slot, coming in ahead of chart-buster Beyoncé and screen-darling Natalie Portman.

"I think it's amazing. Being in the top eleven, that's pretty great!" Maria said. "I have such an eclectic life in Hollywood, wearing so many different hats on a daily basis, and am proud of what I have accomplished thus far. That very much includes my ranking on AskMen.com. The poll continues to bring a smile to my face each year."

Maria goes on to say she's honored to be included among the other women, saying, "I think they're all smart, beautiful women. These are women who are recognized for the positive work that they're doing. It's great company to keep."
