Are Beyonce & Jay-Z Getting Married Tonight?
By Access HollywoodApril 4, 2008, 4:29 pm PDTNEW YORK, NY -- Are Beyonce and Jay-Z getting married tonight? That's the question all of New York is asking after rumors began surfacing earlier this week that the two had taken out a marriage license.
According to a source, the two are expected to tie the knot on a Tribeca rooftop penthouse apartment, owned by rap mogul Jay-Z.

Another source told Access Hollywood the rumored wedding was expected to begin at 4:40 PM local time, today, April 4. When the clocks hit the dial however, no ceremony appeared to be taking place.
The number four has particular significance to the couple.

Both Jay-Z and Beyonce were born on the 4th - Jay Z was born on December 4, 1969, while Beyonce was born September 4, 1981.
A host of media including four live trucks are currently stationed outside the location in preparation for coverage of the suspected nuptials. More than three dozen reporters and paparazzi are also outside.

Over the last several hours, SUVs have been entering and exiting the garage located underneath Jay-Z's building.
The rooftop is adorned in flowers and tented scaffolding.

A Maybach luxury vehicle arrived at the location shortly before 7 PM local time and drove past as it was mobbed by paparazzi. Jay-Z reportedly owns one of the super high-priced cars.
Shortly after, a host of SUVs entered in succession. One of the cars is believed to be carrying Forest Whitaker.

This is not the first time wedding news for the couple has hit the press. Beyonce shot down rumors she had married Jay-Z in a Vanity Fair story in 2005.
Reports also surfaced in December 2007, that the couple had secretly tied the knot in Paris, France.
When contacted by Access Hollywood earlier today and asked about the wedding rumors, neighbors of the rap star repeatedly offered "no comment."
