Access Exclusive: Beyonce & Jay-Z's Wedding Designer Revealed

By Access HollywoodApril 7, 2008, 4:08 pm PDT

NEW YORK, New York -- Access Hollywood has learned exclusively that Beyonce and Jay-Z's wedding was planned and designed by New York's Pollen Nation, "an artisanal creator of event planning and venue decor solutions."

The designer (who requested anonymity) told Access Hollywood that Pollen Nation received the request for the event only three weeks ago, yet says "everything came together perfectly like pieces of a puzzle."

"Two simple words describe what we achieved….fantastic and beautiful!," the designer told Access."The main colors of the decor were creams and ivories, from the flowers to the draperies to the linens to the candles."

Pollen Nation has designed many parties and events for Beyonce and Jay-Z, including Beyonce's last birthday party at Jay-Z's 40/40 club. They have also designed P. Diddy's famous "white parties" in the Hamptons and Atlanta as well as events for Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons, Queen Latifah and Bill Clinton.

The Pollen Nation designer set out to create an intimate and elegant affair for the couple and their 40 guests, noting "they are not a party couple like P. Diddy."

No famous New York caterers were hired for the event, says the designer. Instead, Beyonce's family and friends had food prepared for the event - and had it flown in from Houston.

In respecting the privacy of the couple, the designer would not allude to the cost of the event, but did admit "it certainly looked like a million dollar party."

I don't think she's pregnant. I suppose they did that for the sake of privacy. If they had organised an extravagant wedding at some far off exotic place, privacy would have been compromised. I think I like the way they've done it...small and intimate, although to be honest I'd have loved to see Miss B in her wedding gown, which I am sure was glam

there is nothing like a pathetic, no life having, racist that needs to keep put and kept back in a cave that spell "sorry and ignorant". That is all I have to quote on that.

Dear Rachael's, I feel sorry for you. It is pathetic that you spend so much time hating people you don't even know just because of their race. Here's a tip, get a life and some friends; then maybe you wouldn't have to spend all your time spreading hateful racists comments on blogs. Oh and by the way I know you will respond with some racial slur - So Be Who You Are!
